10 speed gear box.

270-670 RPM no load speed.
Weight 72 lbs. with stand.

maximum 20" core drill.
There's a special mode on the drill for drilling thru rebar.
There's also a special mode to reduce excessive vibration when starting the drill.

the alarm did go off, and was passed to the scotland yard control room, and it was the police who decided not to attend due to the underground fire setting off lots of false alarms in the nearby area, just because you have an intruder alarm that's montiored, it doesn't guarantee a police response, well not in the UK it doesn't
i'd like to know the keyholders response to being notified though, but i'm just nosy i suppose

Does anyone have Dina Spector's email address?
I'd like to inform her it's safe deposit, not safety deposit...
Basically, the alarm went off, on site security looked in from the outside and didn't see anything suspicious and turned the alarm off. Biiig heist, but where do you unload that much stuff?

In the next day or two, they will probably find that somebody ordered themselves a new Hilti drill, core bit and had it sent to their home, paying with their own credit card.
Holy ****, that's a serious power tool.
I wonder what the drill bits cost. $500 each?
Industrial tooling is a whole 'nother world, brother. You should see some of the tooling a local bolting company I occasionally work with uses to torque critical fasteners of ANY size on flanges of heat exchangers, piping, valves, pressure vessels, etc. Crazy expensive pneumatic-over-hydraulic tooling.
