I found this company's online store from EBay (I bought a Hakko 888d soldering station with 7 tips). And today I put an order in for some Wera phillips 2", 1/4" hexagon drive bits along with a Hakko "hot sock" oven mitt for a soldering iron pencil, so you can transport a still hot Iron.

They are also going to get rid of the Wera lineup

They are a great store to deal with. I spoke with Bud both times I placed my orders over the phone.

Thanks for the post
How were the shipping charges

I would also like to know what the shipping costs are... looking at picking up 2 different precision Torx screwdrivers that are pretty cheap.

I have spent the last 45 minutes trying to find a set of micro Torx screwdrivers by Wera... I need the set to include a T5 and a T6.

Anyone know of a nice set that comes close to these sale prices, but a little better?

At the OP's link they have Torx 4-10 individually, including T5 and T6. They're about $4 each.

I doubt you'll be able to beat that price for quality drivers.

What's the deal with the Wera chiseldrivers with the 1/4" ratchet adaptor in the back of them?

I'm having a hard time figuring out witch models are witch as far as the yellow handle ones, some have the hammer cap, some have the 1/4 adaptor, or is there a cap that goes over the 1/4 hole in them and they all have it or what?

I've been trying to find the ones with the 1/4 adaptor but its pretty confusing...

Are they any good anyway? I read something about soft tips? Maybe they're discontinued..

Bought the micro torx drivers and a nice selection of various bits, including a set of metric hex bits. Been looking for a deal on some of that stuff for a while.

Got a call from the bdent, asking where I heard about them, and saying my order will be shipped today. Very pleased.

I actually have a $42 cart now, but there's only a $0.00 option for using your own UPS shipping acct.

How are you getting your shipping at FREE?

I don't know why mine had free shipping. I've attached a screenshot of my order confirmation. I went back and added a couple of the same items and noticed the free shipping option again. Maybe because the LED lights aren't a sale item?

The reason I got free shipping on my very first order is because I called them to match their E-Bay Hakko Soldering station deal, I just asked for different tips (which they carry all of them, Bud the phone guy says they are "the largest stocking distributor of Hakko")

Second order (had to get the Hakko soldering Iron sock, for moving your Iron around when it is still hot) & Wera 2" phillips bits. They looked up shipping USPS vs. UPS and gave me the cheaper deal.

Tell them Sam from CA, a call in customer refere'd you. I figured you GJ Wera fanboys would **** your ******* on these prices. :spit::scared:

Thanks to the OP for posting this sale.

I got my order of Wera's today, ordering and shipping went smoothly at smoking good prices, however three out the eleven micro series screwdrivers I received were not straight (****-eyed). I'll need to contact them and see if I can get them replaced, if not they go in trash.

Nothing is more frustrating than trying to use micro sized slotted screwdrivers that is out of column.

Other than that I'm really happy especially with the larger Wera's and the Wera screw bits are really nice, especially the gold diamond finish ones. I've already used them

I also just received my order of Wiha 12 piece set from KC Tool and have to say I like the Wera's better. The Wiha's soft grips are pretty slippery and have a lighter, dare I say cheaper feel.

Can you post a pic of the three offenders? TIA.

Got to give it up to B+D Enterprises for their great customer service. The metal cleaning sponge (for the iron holder) in my Hakko FX-888D had green/blue oxidization on it. I first called Hakko USA and they didn't give a damn about it. I called B+D and they got a replacement shipped right away
