Who knows?
I can see why! This one is my new fav.
Now I just need the extra long fixed head, the stubby, the roto head, the 3/8 in the 1/4 body, all the hard handle ones, all the soft handle ones, and all the 1/4 and 1/2 matching ones...
Goals man...goals

I hear you man. The FHL80 and FHBF80 are next on my list.

I think that was probably me. I ran a bolt thru mine and welded the nut on the other side. It took away that slop that it has. I also ground down the jaws a little to make them meet perfectly. By the way the factory rivet comes off like nothing. I basically sneezed on it and it came out

I will probably mod them in a similar way.

I had to pull about 15 of those damn push pins out the other day on.my mom's Cadillac. What a pia.

Does Wright have two versions ? I see the Wright+grip and other sets without the "grip" in the descriptions.
I understand Snap-On has the standard FD(tootheless open end) and FD+.

My 958 set was $230 which included tax and freight. Ordered and picked up locally and the Wright plant is in Barberton, Ohio. Still took close to a month to get.

The 915 is full polished and have the wright grip just like the 958. Not sure on the 715 set if it has the wright grip.

A month ? I guess their opening statement goes out the window then ?
OTOH are you part of the 2% :shocking:

"The new warehouses help to support Wright Tool’s 98/36 delivery standard of having 98 percent of a customer’s order fulfilled within 36 hours or less. The new warehouses also support the company’s quality process known as “Perfecting Performance.”

I Don't believe so, my understanding is that all new Wright production is WrightGrip.

Yes. A call to the distributor confirmed that. However "grip"is not even available on the DOE sets. Stupid move on their part.I probably could have invested in those for the rare occasion "teeth" might come in handy.
That's OK. Snap-on offers the 30-60 angle open in Metric FD+.
Double the good. I may hunt a set down.

EDIT: Oddly, to add to this goofiness, Protos angle open ends aren't available in ASD. You'd think when something demanded an "open end only" solution and doubling that problem to an "angled double open end only"...teeth would be mandatory.
If that didn't work the Victor Hot Combo wrench is the only thing left.

while I was in the Phils. saw a lot of Nicholson tools that I don't even knew that existed here in North America, they have screw driver set, pliers, cutters, hack saw blade. And most of them are Made in the USA Written on the packaging.

I moved to australia from the UK 2 years ago. I'm a heavy diesel mechanic and decided to restart my collection rather than ship my old Mac tools road chest that was a bit tired.

In the last few months I've bought a kra4107 roll chest and just last week a kra5012 locker. Today I ordered a 42 piece thread chaser/restorer kit, some new files. I'm upgrading my snap on multi meter for a new one with better range, a couple of set of easy outs. You might notice in the links australian prices are ridiculous

Any idea what the difference is between set 915 and 715? Can't really see why one set is double the price, and amazon's descriptions leave a lot to be desired...
