Re: noticed the dewalt mechanics tool set marked down in sears.

Last week they had the big set with all 3 drive sizes on sale for about $120.
Sold out before I could get it.
The $79 set is tempting.
I bought Dewalt ratcheting wrenches last week and they are nice.

the reversible ratching wrenches are really tempting too.. ive amassed TOO many different wrench sets buying cheaper ratching styles instead of just biting the bullet the first time and getting the good ones..

only thing that bothers me is the fear of breaking one and not being able to get them replaced.. i dont use my tools much these days - (im in a motivational slump) but at $40 i might have to bite, esp with each being a 10 piece set of wrenches.. my awesome math skills reveals that means they are only $4 a wrench.. thats pretty hard to beat, and BY FAR the cheapest i can find these for, they are $73 on amazon.

Wow. I was just in the outlet store on Miller Road in Dallas yesterday and they were still $99.

sounds like an intervention is needed

I've had the 204 piece set for a couple years now and the wrench sets, non-ratcheting and I think they're absolutely great. If the sets & everything were priced the same at my location I'd definitely buy into some more...but unfortunately they're still priced pretty high.

i can NEVER trust what the prices are in the store.. prices change so many times, they are almost never marked correctly - so it might be worth a trip to the store and to do a price check.. i just got the other deal posted on this forum, for the 3 piece professional prybar set for $25 (normally $50+), that too wasnt marked.. i honestly belive this is a big part of the tool section not doing well with sales.. things marked for $99 ring up for $39 (dewalt ratcheting wrenches - yes i bought them too) and NOBODY knows cause the ******** working is too busy hanging out with his buddies cause the store is always dead. wonder why..

How do you go about getting it at the discounted price? It shows in the add at a great discount but when I click to buy it goes to regular price.

it depends what the price is set at each store. its the dumbest ******* thing ever.. you have to find a store that has them set at that price.. try changing the location of the store you are shopping at. its hit or miss with the stores..

The DeWalt 10 Piece Ratcheting Combination Wrench Set, Metric (10-19MM ) is back down to $39.96 on Sears.com here: LINK. With Sears, this price is probably good until 11:59P EST!

NOTE: In my area, if I select in store pick up, the earliest I can pick up the wrench set is on the 22nd.

Dammit i have more wrenches then i can count but i could resist getting this deal after picking up the dewalt ratchets and sockets on sale. They are really well made and were a very good deal on sale and after my surprise points most of the sets were free or very cheap thanks.

I am still kicking myself in the pants for not pulling the trigger on their 10 piece reversible ratcheting wrench sets when they were 35.** earlier this past week!

The ratcheting wrenches are now 39.99. They are having a special 20 bucks off 100 dewalt tools. You can throw in a socket set or three and with both wrench sets have a good set of tools cheap

cbus,

The Dewalt metric ratcheting wrench set currently shows up for $39.96. However, when I click on the link on Sears.com, I get the message "Temporary unavailable". The wrenches should not show up on Sears.com if the set is not available locally. :dunno: Got to love Sears!

The 20 off 100 is under the special offers. If you put 100 bucks of dewalt tools in the cart it should show up automatically

I saw it i thought it was sears you guys were talking about not amazon.

Everyone is talking about Sears. Add 100 bucks worth of qualifying DeWalt items to your cart and it'll automatically deduct the 20 bucks.
