Not raining on it. Wasn't meant as a snipe. I was just trying to say that just b/c he doesn't have his discount anymore, doesn't mean he can't save a buck. If he wants green that's on him, but if he wants to buy more hammers for less money, he can get them from the OEM.

It was about a $3 difference for me and I was buying a 3/4 to 1/2 adapter

Yeah but what's the price on the hammer w/out the discount is what I'm getting at.

What I'm saying is that once you don't have access to the discount anymore, you can still save money on the same hammer. Might not be as much as you would have saved with the discount, but every little bit helps.

Workin on heavy duty trucks, even just oil changes require some pretty large hex bits

Also the 19mm, 17mm, and 14mm are sizes for Audi CV's and for DSG drain plugs; plus other random jobs on European vehicles. Much more common then one would expect.

I bet! I currently have the Mac 3/8 cordless impact but I'm regretting it. I wish I would've gotten the 95th anniversary deal that Snap On had with the Ct761. I'll also be buying the Cts761 body once I get the impact gun.

Picked up a Stihl KM130r Kombi system today, with trimmer, brush blade, pole saw + extension. I used the trimmer and brush blade tonight, burning through its first tank of gas. This thing is a beast, with tons of torque!

View media item 50649Got my long awaited set of Metric Wright grips, a Facom hacksaw frame that was cheap and some NOS Stanley Magnum Robertson drivers, all in the last week. Will be saving up for SAE wright grips in satin, they are a really nice set of wrenches.

I never heard of Wright before joining this board, I have been wanting to upgrade my SAE wrenches from RP Cmans for awhile now. Finally pulled the trigger on the Wright 915 set.

Robertson is one of the rarest drives here, I have only ever seen it on collated deck screws, I bought them because they were cheap as a just in case measure.
Those Stanley Magnums are good drivers and afaik the last style they made in England. My first drivers set plus a couple singles I bought when I started in construction a decade ago were magnums and I still have a few of them left.

2 days ago I was asking on the HF thread about a new creeper since my old wooden Western Auto one finally bit the dust and as a 225 pounder I needed something a little more sturdy and Red Neck Welder and PJNJ recommended the Lisle Jeepers Creepers.

I ordered it off Tooltopia ($64 and change incl shipping) and it got here already. I couldn't be happier with it and those guys were right, its a great creeper for anyone and particularly for bigger guys. Thanks again guys

Well, picked up some Canadian tire On Sales item for my Racetrack toolbox:

-Stanley matte black series 229 pieces for 119.99$ instead of 399.99$

-Mastercraft Maximum Breaker bar 14.49$ instead of 42.99$

-Mastercraft Maximum Pliers set 19.99$ instead of 39.99$.

-Mastercraft Cart with 1 drawer 79.99$ instead of 119.99$

Then stopped at my local tool store to pick up some rails so I can take the sockets out of the blowmold case and put em in the box. Also picked up a Neiko Pro stud extractor wich is the exact same as the Mehews.

I bought that same blue point panel piper set years ago. It was actually a godsend and worked sup e nice for interior and clip removal. It's a thing that you have to use to find out how useful it is.
