Show your support for Craftsman by buying a $2.50 shirt!

But seriously, I stopped into the Savannah store earlier and found various shirts, hoodies, and hats on clearance with a 50% off sign next to them. Grabbed a shirt for a buddy that was marked at $4.99 from $19.99 and was pleasantly surprised when the cashier took the 50% off. The hoodies looked like decent quality but I couldn't convince myself to buy anything else. Hell, impulse may drive me to head back there tomorrow.

I also got the 20% off military discount on the set of Wiha insulated screwdrivers. They look pretty good...can't believe I spent over half as much on the 3-piece Milwaukee set. I did avoid going over to the dunkel side with Knipex. They had the rebranded Cobras and some Alligators in stock. I'd already bought two more Channellock tools earlier.

Honestly speaking, the craftsman hoodies and t shirts are pretty awesome. They fit really well on athletic body types for $2.50 I would've bought a whole wardrobe for around the house.

Well, damn...may hit them back up tomorrow in hopes of getting some for myself. Gonna stop by Keller's Flea Market in the morning to look for more tools I don't need. The hoodies were $5, but most had been picked over.

Hmm... Will go see if there are any hoodies. Need something besides my favorite sweatshirt to work in.

I just bought 2 for $5 each. Sears strikes again.

No it's not a legitimate complaint. But it's how my luck goes sometimes.

Does the discount apply to the button down workshirts? The older ones were awesome (the ones without the zipper above the pocket). I have 8. Want more.

No, just to some stuff that looks like holiday leftovers. I just picked up four hoodies for $4.98 each, two t-shirts for $2.23 each, two more t-shirts for $2.48 each, and two hats for $3.76 each. I was pleasantly surprised to see a 10% Craftsman Club discount applied to the hats and shirt. The same discount cost me 10%, though, when the clerk only scanned the 5% off promotional price barcode for a Greenlee screw holding screwdriver. I asked about the 20% for the conduit reamer I don't need and the clerk told me it was on sale due to the Club discount. To his credit, he was friendly and didn't work in the tool section...he got stuck there helping a steady stream of customers like me. I didn't argue over the $1.80; walked out the door $60 poorer, but considering some customers paid that price for a single T-shirt and hoodie (or the two hats) a few months ago, I think I got a good deal.
