1. After the disposal is hung and all three mounting tabs are locked over the ridges on the slide-up ramps, can the disposal still be rotated into the proper position? Or does that have to be determined beforehand?

2. Can the dishwasher high drain loop be mounted on the back of the sink cabinet rather than the side?

3. The top of the drain loop must be higher than the top of the dishwasher?????

TIA!

1, usually it will rotate some, when new, might not hurt to put a little lube on the rubber, dish soap will be plenty

2, that's fine

3, mostly it's as long as it loops above the disposal port

Dave has pretty much answered all of your questions. If the unit won't turn easily, just unlock it, position it, then relock. Make sure that dishwasher drain hose connection to garbage disposal is not at a strained angle. This is a major cause for future kitchen flood when hose gives out or dishwasher to disposal adapter fails.

All good answers provided. I use a plastic tie wrap to secure the loop so it doesn't move out of position

And don't forget to knock out the plug blocking the dishwasher drain ****** or the dishwasher won't drain. And after you knock it out, don't forget to retrieve it from the grinding chamber.

This. Even as a plumber, I've forgotten to do this a time or two. You'll realize it pretty quick lol.

On new Waste King disposals, the knocked-out plug can be left in the disposal and will be ground up and flushed out without any issues, according to the manual...

That's correct , I just installed one for a customer . They are plastic . But I removed it anyways.
