5/16-8mm is better as it allows better penetration, you need to crank the heat up when plug welding 3/16 i have witnessed to many failed welds due to improper penetration. Be careful!Nice! I need to get the 3/16 as well. Much easier to plug weld.
I have both as well. The bigger ones crimp much better and easier IMHO. And the cutter is fantastic. I would keep both because they are different enough to warrant having both.
I've got a pair of Pettibone axles set aside for a "monster" project. Love those cranes!
Been wanting to try a flank drive type socket but couldn't stomach the snap on price as I'm just a diy'er. Wera metric sockets.

1/2" wobble extension
I've never used a wobble extension - you like it? Do you use it more/less often than a standard?
Digital temp probe is nice and this puller is HEAVY duty compared to the OTC one.

I only use wobble extensions. They're fantastic.
I can't wait for it to be delivered. It's a little rough but it will make life so much easier. My current yard crane often needs more work then the crane I'm repairing.Come on man, play fair! Nice. I am always looking for one of those small ones at DRMO that the military uses.
I have a friend that picked up one of the military rigs for 3K and it was like brand new condition...he uses it instead of a gantry for his business.I can't wait for it to be delivered. I wish I only paid 3k for this one. These cranes aren't very common here in Canada. I will post more photos when it shows up.I have a friend that picked up one of the military rigs for 3K and it was like brand new condition...he uses it instead of a gantry for his business.
Feel free to post more pictures if you have them.
New small Ryobi Jobsite Radio with Bluetooth, aux and USB charging port. Good sound for the size.

OK.I got it at Home Depot. They are just starting to stock the new versions. I actually had to find mine in the over head as they showed stock but did not have a shelf spot for them yet. Model# P742.
