Well since I'm waiting on my Snap On Ct761 impact gun to arrive, I decided to also get a couple other of the 14.4v tools that i don't have. I was looking at the Cts761 which is their cordless screwdriver.

I'm not too familiar with them so i need some help clarifying the differences From what i understand, a cordless screwdriver is weaker than an impact driver. You use an impact driver to drive screws and other things through tough surfaces like 2x4, drywall etc., and the cordless screwdriver doesn't have that kind of power right?

Now what about the bits? I'm not the kinda of person that uses chrome sockets on impact guns so do i need to go out and buy some impact bits like the Makita Golds or since a cordless screwdriver is weaker do i just go out and buy regular bits for the cordless screwdriver?

Thanks GJ.

Think of a cordless screwdriver as an air ratchet. It is a smooth-ish, no hammering (or impact) action. Use regular bits. Now for an impact driver you really should use impact bits, but... I got a set of Wiha on sale at Home Depot a while back.

Spin them with this---

Milwaukee 18volt Brushless Drill Driver...$ 199.99 at Home Depot...

I know it's not Snap-On, but it will drive or drill anything...

The total cost would be, for the Drill/Driver and the 45 piece Shockwave set, would be $ 229.96...

How much will the Snap-On equipment cost you???

In your basement...seriously, go look now!
Makita Gold, Wiha Terminators, or Dewalts for the impact driver - I like the look of the Milwaukee Shockwaves but they don't hold up as well as the others I mentioned.

Regular bits for the cordless screwdriver - Dewalt, Ridgid, Porter-Cable, Ryobi.
