I got linked to this site by REFLEXX, from Jalopnik's post about Man Caves. Awesome site you have here, so I figured I'd toss my small "man cave" into the pile for you guys to check out and make suggestions on. So here it goes:

With the door up and the cars out:

The storage racks on the right side of the garage:

Left side of the garage (its cleaner now):

Its been about a 3 year process thus far. Paint was the most recent major addition (sister is an art major and a very good artist. We don't have a single wall anywhere in the hose that isn't painted and she's done 100% of it, plus a very detailed mural in the kid's room). We wanted something a little nicer than just a normal paint job. The orange was a match to a Jeep I had back when I bought the house. Any similarity to AutoZone and/or Harley Davidson was not intentional. lol.

The Craftsman Professional toolbox is the coolest part I think. Got it from a mechanic that was retiring. It had never even been used. He was bringing his huge Snap-On box home from the dealership, so he sold me that box for $400. Best purchase I've made thus far. All the tools with a few minor exceptions are Craftsman, and I'm a firm believer in buying any tool I need, as if I need it once I'll likely need it again someday.

I finally added an extra fluorescent light, which has made a huge difference. I have one up for now, but want at least four more. The next additions need to be a workbench with a vise, as I've had need for one more than a few times. After that I want a parts washer, but we'll see.

Its nothing compared to some of the shops on here, but i've done everything from oil changes to engine swaps in it thus far, so it works I suppose.

Feel free to toss out comments/suggestions. I've got thick skin, so be as brutal as you want.

Looks nice! Some suggestions. How about using some 1/2 plywood to create doors on those shelves and then continue the cool paint scheme over them. Also paint the fridge black and silver to match your tool box. And those water heaters cry out to be painted like beer cans!

I actually want to put a door up for the water heaters, but I admit I like the idea of painting them to look like beer cans. That would be hilarious.

And that's actually just a freezer. :( painting it to match the toolbox would be cool too though.

I guess you'll never run out of hot water. Nice roomy attached garage.

The house is 2 story, 3600 sq ft, so I guess they called for two hot water heaters. I do know that even with 4 adults and two kids, we've never ran out of hot water. I can run two showers, dishwasher and clothes washer all at once, even flush a toliet and no one will notice.

I'm not sure the dimensions, but it seems large for being an attached. I park my Jeep next to the shelves close enough I can squeeze through to access them, but not enough room to open the doors. The other side is my wife's RAV4, which can open all 4 doors all the way. I rarely ever have more than myself in my Jeep though.
