that is a bargain price. after all we are talking about some 'AUTHENTIC' snap on wrenches.
he would never be asking that much for 'copies'

There is a "best offer" option. We should all make offers equal to the insanity of his asking price.

They must be made of Unobtainium. It makes you wonder if some of these folks are serious or just a crack head.

I just sold my SK combo set to a guy a work because I picked up a NEW, 25 wrench (8mm to 36mm) SO set with a SAE flare nut set (Also new) for 3/4 of what this guy is wanting....

My problem is I can't find a wrench holder big enough for that huge 36mm wrench (and the 3 sizes below it). Does anyone here know of one that would work? I still have room in the boxes so they can just lay in the drawer like my other large wrenches but these look soooo much nicer when racked...

SO has wrench organizers that are in pairs (strips). They have a small set and large set. The larger set part # is KRA22A. They are listed for $12.75 for the pair. Also Craftsman has some foam organizers that I bet would hold the larger wrenches. Look in the "show us your tool box" thread for nissan_crawler's tool box. He has them.

The adjustable magnetic wrench racks will hold them. Once they get to a certain size, you will have to have the open ends turned upward to keep them level.

I use them to hold mine and really like them.

I have the same SO set, and I've used both the Ernst and Snap On's (large size) wrench rails for the 32, 34, and 36mm Snap On wrenches.

Does the flank drive plus stuff really work? Is it that much better than a normal open end??

When they first came out, they had a dog and pony show on the truck. it consisted of a plastic nut, you tried a regular open end on it and could get so much torgue before the plastic nut rounded off. Then you tried the flank plus wrench and you could get more torque on it. Whether that translates to real life?? I think it does but maybe its wishfull thinking after paying more:bounce:

I don't like that Flank Drive Plus is not available in extra long any more. I'd be more interested if it was.

Guys,

Thanks for the help on the racks. Never looked at the large one before. Couldn't beat the price either. Todays special pricing was $0.00. There is a reason I like my dealer..:)

Of course with the money I have given him, I think he can afford the good will.
