As promised a few days ago, here is a picture of my new Waterloo 1000/1200 combination both date stamped 1979. I have to be careful, I'm getting addicted to vintage tools...

Thanks, it was a bonus that that was the year I graduated HS.
I like that 5 Stitches garage, looks like you have a vice for vises.
I only have 4 so I have some catching up to do.

Will you please take a picture of the drawer slides? I have on of those 1200s in a '83 vintage IIRC. Great layout for a box.

Beatcad, wasn't Dulap the daughter to Craftsman? The chest is marked Craftsman, I would think someone made the boxes for Dunlap and Craftsman. :dunno:

Either way, that's a score and a YOU **** as well! Nice box!!

Craftsman, Dunlap, Companion, Kenmore, Commander, Challenger (WAY before Proto...) Driver, (and probably many more..) were all Sears Marketing names.

One of my favorites. 1920-something Kennedy Kits Machinist boxes. Hate to do it, but it has to go. Currently on eBay.

I've got a Kennedy like that I use. Love the little metal drawer pulls. Mine was dented and paint really bad, I straightened it out and repainted it about 20 years ago.

Just grabbed these 2 today. These are pics the seller sent me. It's down pouring so I haven't taken better pictures yet. The 8 drawer has a cover and I believe it's made by Kennedy.

Local auction house score. Picked this up for $74. I have absolutely no real need for it, but its so pretty and clean that I don't think i will get rid of it. Both pieces are stamped 10/71. It is in amazing, like-new, condition. I think i have a problem, and i blame you all, the people of GJ, for being enablers. My wife hates you too.

Loudog212 you ****! I did come across a combo as nice as yours for $120 but the top is a 3 large/3 small drawer unit and the lower is the 2 drawer.

No, but they made a VERY similar box and a 520 clone for craftsman. The lack of lid supports and the lid stiffener panel are a dead giveaway.
