Haven't seen it. I do get 5X ebay bucks offers all the time though and use them. What ***** is they only allow it for home and garden section at least for what I buy anyway. I used two of the $20 off coupons the other day. One on mine and one on the Wife's. They hit the same time as the 5x ebay bucks and one item I saved 38 bucks on.

Sadly, I think this is one of those targeted coupons. They want new people to shop with them, so why give it to people who shop with them a lot.

I made two one hundred dollar plus purchases within the last week or so, and they sent me the 10% discount code even after that. In addition, I've been on Ebay since October of 1997.

I used the code about a hour ago and saved fourteen bucks on a pair of springs for my wife's work car.

It's not real often, but Ebay/PayPal do the discount code thing from time to time. It might be interesting to plot when they occur and see if it correlates with quarterly earning statement releases.

I think you do have to have a PayPal account for the discount code to be used. I guess that that's an additional incentive to sign up with PayPal. I like PayPal as a buyer, but PayPal is the reason that I quit selling anything on Ebay a long long time ago.

Looking at some vintage wrenches that are just a little too overpriced, a 10% off coupon would sweeten the deal.

I am not a new ebay member i have been on since 2010 and they gave me one.

I wasn't talking about when you signed up or how long you have been a member, more about how much you use ebay. I have spent about $3500 in the last two months and I did not get a code. My guess is they know that I am a steady customer and don't need to give me a discount to get me to shop more.

I am glad some of you other guys got the discount code.

Where do you sell anything then?

Sadly, I don't.

I'd love to see another company give them a real run for their money. But, I think that unless Ebay has some really, REALLY, major public relations fiascoes, there isn't going to be any credible competitor to them in the foreseeable future.

They were "in the right place at the right time" and have pretty much secured their niche.

I've been clicking the "X" on their annoying BS popup about Ebay and PayPal separating for a while. I haven't even bothered to research it.
