I think there was a thread on here a while ago regarding aircat, but does anyone have any reviews of recent purchases? A buddy just bought one at work and it seems great, but Im not sure of how well they hold up.

I've had my th-1000 for a year now and besides it not having enough power sometimes for really nasty rusty fasteners on semi trailers I.e. Shock bolts and some dolly leg bolts I've had good experiences. Those bolts also stand up snapon mg725s!

Love my 1200K 1/2 impact. Very popular in the shop, lots of our guys have them. I've had mine for about a year, and it has held up very well in a heavy equipment shop. Some of our guys also have the 3/8 impacts and a couple have the 3/4 impacts and I have heard no complaints.

Have not heard anything about their ratchets or drills.

They are great and they are quiet. Have two 3/8" Aircat impact and two 1/2" Aircat impacts and they are powerful and QUIET. Oh, wait, I already said that.

I don't have any first hand experience, but the biggest complaint I have heard on them is that they lose their power over time and usually quicker than expected.

hmmmm maybe this is true,,,, my aircat seems to be weaker but I have nothing to test against it, still good for most instances (not even using it that much)..... Last time I used it was on my vw rear trailing arm bushing bolt, couldn't take it off or break loose... had to use a breaker bar and a cheater bar to break it loose..

I recently purchased a new 6320 right angle compact oscillating sander and have been impressed with quality. I might add that this my first Aircat purchase

I have the aircat 3/8 drive air ratchet and have zero complaints. It is very very quiet. Night and day compared to the screamers! And the exhaust is routed very nicely.

I have a th-1000 and 3/8 ratchet, broke two 1/4" ratchets only because i used them for everything. snap on is much louder, slower, pricier. looks like Mac tools has their own name on some of the aircat tools, just a brighter color red plastic
