Mine took 30 minutes... and I only had to remove the air box and battery... I win :lol_hitti

LOL, mine is the POS slave cylinder that Ford decided was a great idea. But I'm also replacing the clutch master cylinder and that's a job in itself also.

Been working on it on and off the past week between work, wrong parts, baby, and wife favors.

I replaced the slave, master and all the lines. It comes as a complete kit for $100. This saturn may ****, but its cheap and easy to work on.

Got running water.

Put in a well during construction and have been collecting all the necessary stuff - pump, tank, pipe, fittings etc. Finally got around to connecting it all up.

Now I don't have to run two hundred feet of hose from the house and across the road.

Started to tear into the rear brake lines on my 96 accord that went out on the way to work yesterday. I hate the rust from 20 years of winter roads in Ohio.

Now that I think about it... 20 years and 275k on the original lines under those conditions is kind of impressive. The one on my truck only lasted 10 years and 150k

Cut off the original fixed straight rear wheels on the brush hog. Cut and ground the brackets for the new non stock pivoting wheels. Drilled the deck and mounted the brackets. Waved the rattle can at it to ward off the rust fairies.

Mounted up the new speakers in the garage. Waiting for some wire raceway to come to clean it up behind the TV.

Original Quote - This is interesting. I've seen others do it but havent tried it myself yet. I was thinking of plastic dipping the Bronco. How durable is it? Any special prep prior to applying it?

Patrick, it feels pretty durable but only time will tell. Supposedly it can last 2-3 years with proper care. It is a temporary measure for me until I can get the car properly painted.

As far as prep goes, the car had to be washed really well so that no oil, grease or other dirt was on the surface to be painted. It had to be completely dry otherwise the Plasti Dip would not bond. Air temp had to be at least 70 degrees and dry. I taped off some parts of my garage like the floor and some items I did not want overspray to land on. I wore a 3M mask that had replaceable filters.

Check out www.dipyourcar.com

Thanks for the reply OhCookie!
I think I will do more research on it. I am afraid it wont take my abuse lol.
I have it all primmered up and will probably just paint it. I saw a Blazor dipped and it looked good but didnt get to talk to the owner,
Thanks for the information!

Started bending up a bull bar/winch tray for my 2011 Ram 1500.

Have a nifty little program to lay out all my bend points, rotations, cut length, etc. Just lay it all out, then keep feeding it pipe until you've got something. :rocker:

I do not understand all this interest in pallet furniture.....pallets are made out of the lowest grade wood left over, and to my eye when used for furniture it's just plain ugly and cheap looking.

Why would someone want their furniture to look like something a homeless person would have? :headscrat

Everybody has different taste.

Personally, I cringe when I see store bought furniture.

Just for the record,
every single piece on all of that is either Red Oak, or White oak. Hardly consider it "cheap" wood. Its all been planed as well.

But luckily this is a great country, and you're free to your opinion.

What year Bronco?

Hi Dustin,

Its a 1982 FulSized Bronco. I decided to change interior color from tan to black (because the exterior is going to be blacked out) so everything got yanked out and either getting replaced or painted. I had to rewire because during the process I took a few days off from it (medical conditions) and a few field mice and a chipmunk go into the garage and made a meal of the wiring. Animals love broncos, when I was in WA I had the top off and and over night a couple of ***** got in and tore up my seats lol.

I love the full-size. Had a 78 and 79 along with an eb(74)

I am the same way Dustin, love the same years. This one was bought at a steal and has never let me down. I am just trying to change her up a little. Got tired of the brown and white paint and decided to go all black. Tomorrow I should finish up installing the panels and seats etc... I am trying to decide what to do with the flooring. I already have put truckbed liner (cheap stuff) on all of the floors (cab and "bed") but I am thinking of finding some rubber matting to install in the cab instead of carpet (I run ******* a lot and don't want to worry about water/rain messing it up so I figured rubber matting just have find something good).
I had a 79 but sold it within a week of owning because someone offered me way too much to pass up. Very happy with the 82!

Brought my 40 pickup cab and bed from storage. Now I can prepare to fab the engine mounts and try to finish up the chassis for final welding.

Awesome. I love the 40's pickups! What are you plans on this build? Very interested!

Ford in a ford. 351 with C6 ******. 9 inch rear, heidts superide front with 4 wheel disc. I built the chassis so this is the first fit up to sheet metal. Top chopped 2-3/4" and a recessed firewall for the ford.

Cool! I am glad you are going "ford into ford". Seems lately all anyone is doing is sticking in a LS engine. The 351 is a good choice.

Please keep us updated on your project!

Not your average picnic table project for my boss and his family. Table top is 9'6" x 3'6", 14 gage steel top over 3/4" plywood.
