samson hose reels ???

Does anybody have any experience with the Samson Corp. hose reels?

I'm looking at getting one of these:

Basically I bid on one of these on EB and won it. It's supposed to be shipped this coming Tuesday. I had never heard of this manufacturer but this piece was so dang cheap I just had to bid on it. No one bid on it except me so I got it for $1 (one dollar) + shipping ($47). The guy claims its brand new, never used.

For $48 bucks this has got to be a good deal, right?

Looks like a substantial unit there, nicer than the one I got last fathers day from tractor supply.

I have one, bought used, for 20 at a car parts flee market. Compared to the coxreel and the reelcraft, I don't like it. It jams, intermittantly, I'll be throwing it away, after canabalizing it for parts. But that's probably why I only paid $20..
If you got a new one, like the picture, you should be good.

UPS delivered the reel today. It looks real good, no pun intended. I'll get some pics soon. But it looks to be brand new and undamaged.

Got my $48 air reel mounted. Now I just have to run the line to it. Obviously I was going for the "if it's worth doing it's worth way over-doing look". It just ***** that any of you guys looking for a brand new $400 air hose reel can't get one for only $48. Yep, ***** likes a vacuum pump....wink, wink, nudge, nudge...
