Flare: welcome back. ask questions if you have any or enjoy the reading and hope to see a few of your posts. do you want to share any pictures of the new house or maybe the garage?

Nice thing is it doesn't have a garage right now. So I can start flat an fresh. Build how I want too.

I will post some up later in a separate thread.

Flare: if you ask how big should i build my garage let me warn you about the 2 answers you'll most likely get from the members. as big as you can afford is the first one or how big will the city or county or state let you build one on your property.

in any case there are a ton of good reads about garages if you have time or ask questions and maybe we know a link or two to send you.

wishing i was you today, but my day is coming.

Flare: that is a great size shop or garage. before you set your mind on a height make sure if you are thinking of putting a lift in that you have it figured out. some guys are buying lifts that require 12 foot 2 inch tall ceilings and some found that out after they made their shop with 12 foot ceilings.

if you aren't putting a lift in then never mind the above paragraph.

good luck and feel free to ask questions if you need to or plenty of great threads with a ton of information here.

cheers
