New to the forum and the site - stumbled across you all via a search on Quincy 325 compressors.

I have to replace a crank shaft on a Quincy 325 ROC 104. Would I be able to use a crank from an earlier production run? I could just start buying spare 325's and looking for one that fits, but I'm betting that there is an easier way.

I checked the various parts manuals on the Quincy site, hoping that I could figure something out by looking at part numbers for various ROC's. Not really sure if I can tell anything from that, other than Quincy changes part numbers from time to time.

Anyone have any experience swapping cranks across ROCs?

You may also want to check if the crank from a 240 will fit or not. I thought they and the 325 share the same bottom end but I could be mistaken. Have you called Quincy at all?

I think the basic dimensions are the same for all 325's. Some have different features, like a centrifugal oil pressure relief valve in one of the crank counterweights to relieve oil pressure at cut out. Some others have the small Allen grub screws plugging the oil passages drilled out to spray the Timken bearings with oil, etc.
