$8.42 shipping for me in CA. Good deal but decided to pass. I have this gearwrench microdriver set and don't use it much. I'd probably bite if I didn't have the gearwrench already.

Amazing deal on this one. I just paid $45 for it a month ago and consider it money well spent. I was extremely abusive with the slotted 6 mm last weekend while driving in a bunch of awkwardly placed wood screws. I thought for sure that the bit would be ruined at the end, but there wasn't so much as a nick in it. Wiha really does make some great bits.

We made a mistake with the pricing of this item & apologize for the inconvenience it has caused. The $17.00 price that was live on this item is below our cost and we are losing well over $10 a set. We would like to do our best to make up for our mistake.
We are going to honor the orders that were placed at the $17.00 price, however we must limit it to 1 set if multiples were ordered (+ S&H). We will be contacting those affected this afternoon to see how you would like to proceed. As much as I would like to extend this special price we as a small business cannot afford to offer any more sets at this price.
I would like to again apologize for the mixup & thank the members here for their continued support by offering 20% off everything (excluding Fein) now through tomorrow.

Damn, damn, damn. I missed it too after deciding to wait. I don't feel so bad now, knowing it was an error. +1 for KC doing the right thing, and +1 for the 20%!
Just received a very nice regretful phone call explaining the situation and offering to reduce my order to one and adjust the invoicing. I must say, anymore now-a-days you wouldn't even get a call and they'd just cancel your order and not even be the least concerned. That happened to be my first time purchasing from them but it won't be my last.

Ordered three sets and got a very friendly call 10 minutes ago that they made a mistake and that they would be able to honor one set but had to add shipping to it. I ordered from them before and agree that getting a personal call explaining the mistake is muuuuch nicer than other businesses who just cancel the order and give a xxxx.
The question is of course, how on earth could such a mistake happen? ;-)
And finally, can somebody tell me the COO of the ratchet and the bits? Vietnam probably? For those who don't care about COO, just ignore my question, but I do care to some extent....

COO: Ratchet = Taiwan, Bits = Germany, assembled & packaged in the USA.
P.S. We sold out of the 74996 therefore many of the units that were sold are unfortunately backordered one week as we have to wait to get them in from Wiha.
