I have four of these (BOGO buy), and have used them for ~5yrs. Notches are perfect for a 2x, if you want to run a couple cross supports for a table, work platform etc... Hooks on the side & platform on the bottom are nice for holding clamps, tools etc..

I have had a pair for a couple years. Love them. Use an old nasty piece of plywood for a bench top. They're sturdy and fold up tight for storage.
