Don't know about all their stuff but the ratcheting wrenches are great. Feel good in the hand and work like a champ.

Can anyone tell me what the difference is in the two sets in the following link? Besides the obvious $57.
http://www.sears.com/shc/s/Compare?...mber_1=00944040000P&partNumber_2=00991298000P
The set with the red case has what seems to be a KD Tools part number. KD Tools and Gearwrench are both Danaher companies, and there has been some overlap between the two product lines.

I would guess that the tools are identical and that only the part numbers are different - this wouldn't be the first time that this has happened.

How do I get the craftsman club discount ? I have signed up for it.. but could never figure out how to use it.

On the Sears.com site:

*Click on "My profile" in the upper right corner.

*If you have an account saved, sign in. Otherwise, create an account.

* Click on "My information" in the menu box on the left.

* Enter your club# in the space provided.

*Click on "Save and return to overview" at the bottom right.

The club discount should then show up in the shopping cart whenever you are signed in.

Don't know product numbers, but was looking for a set of double box metrics. I think there are 5 in the set.

Thanks for the heads-up, Stuey!!!
I just got back from the local store (W. Lebanon, NH) with the Gearwrench set pictured at Stuey's site --
http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00944013000P?sid=I0084400010000100600&aff=Y
--I went for some other reason, but cruised through the tool area. Saw the set, thought it didn't look bad for $21, checked out at $16.99!! So for whatever reason, the dang set is just over 50% off. Can't tell you about at other stores, but if you're in the NH/VT area, there were another 5 sets on the shelf.
Happy Hunting.

OK Thanks Stuey.

If I recall they did have nice deep discounts on the double box ratcheting wrenches last year around Xmas...hopefully will happen this coming season...
Maybe with Father's Day coming up? You can also try in-store. It looked like the prices were adjusted in a clearance-style, which would explain why the discount didn't apply.
