We have a Heyer 46A 6 & 12 volt charger and looking for information on them.
this one may have the dip stick mentioned in an other post here.
I have a number of old chargers and a old Tungar we updated the rectifier to solid state and use it a lot in reclaiming battery's. These are interesting machines and not to expensive to collect.
the ones with the Selenium rectifiers usually the rectifier goes bad and we replace them with solid state one with good success. Be very careful with the new smart chargers from China they are very dangerous . I know of one that almost burned the garage down and several others have problems , one friend had three new ones before he got one to work!!!
