Ok, well good news....and, well I guess more good news. I just did the online chat thing with Amazon, after I ordered the Wrightgrips. And to make an extremely long story short, they basically just told me to keep the SK's and gave me a full refund for them, because they were "damaged", I never told them they were damaged just that they looked like they were probably not new, and were sold as such.

This is why Amazon gets all of my money. Happy to hear it worked out for you, brother.

:lol_hitti. Exactly the response I would have expected.. But so we are clear, there isn't many brands out there that I haven't put to the test, Im not gonna go out on a limb and call you Wrong, but my opinion differs.

Enjoy your night..

Name one thing your SK's do better than the rest of your other wrenches.

I personally don't like the anti slip designs. I have a set of snap on flank drive pluses and wouldn't buy them again. I would buy SO just not the flank drive +. The serrations in the open end make it a real pain to get on fasteners. Its especially a pain when doing an alignment and I have to pound my wrench onto a tie rod. I usually just get my long snappys which have regular open ends and they work just fine.

The serrations are in the aft portion of the open end, dont undertand how it makes them more difficult to get on :dunno:

Maybe you need an angle wrench set?

BTW, I wouldnt pay that price for FD+ either, LOL.

The Super combos have it in the front so maybe that would be better for you?

What is wrong with you? Did I ever say SK where better than any other brand? With that said I've never had any of my Sk wrenches fail me, it's a friggin wrench, to be completely Honest I find myself grabbing my Extra long Carlye wrenches of late, but if I get bored I can grab my Cornwell, GW, Genius, RP's, OH!!! Don't let me forget about my Wright wrenches, I'm good up to 2". If you want to have a coherent conversation I'm game, I refuse waste any more time trying to justify your opinions as the gospel. I've put the wrench time in, I have a good feel for quality tools and there are tons of good tools out there.

Define: 'fail me'.

Because SK's failed me where Taiwan Williams didnt, where Proto ASD's didnt, where Proto Challengers didnt, where Wrightgrips didnt, where Superwrenches/Supercombos didnt, where Martins didnt, where Carlyles didnt, where Toptuls didnt, where KTC's didnt, where Bonneys didnt, where Craftsman RP's didnt, etc....

Ok.. Definition: Never failed to remove or tighten a hex type fastener, whether by hand or with persuasion, used multiple years, thru 2 frame offs and countless hours of parting out vehicles and general farm maintenance. I don't want to hurt your feelings, but the Williams I had (USA) where stupid soft on the open end over various sizes, I find my gearwrench with the surface drive to behave similar in smaller sizes. I obviously refuse to condone a entire company over my observations, it might have been fluke.

Oh wow, you must have had an exclusive set... Because my Sk's butchered the palm of my hand every day, gripped like a Chinese Husky, and the beam was neither long-nor short enough... Ever. Completely middle of the pack . Never tested the box end, because I usually ended up reaching for my 40 year old Challengers before it came to that.

I'm tough.. I grew up with $10 raised panel sets and the occasional Sk Wayne's I would borrow of GrandPa's tool board.
