I wish they made that one with a regular handle. They only make the 3/8 version.

That seller seems to have a limited supply of stuff, i emailed him about another ratchet and he only seems to carry a select few.

I would just like to mention, that I doubt that this seller has the inventory to replace a tool for someone that may need it replaced for some reason. They may be willing to return money, replace with a same or different tool like I am, but maybe not.

sincerely,

I can't see buying from them when Mike's price on that ratchet is slightly better and you know it's backed up by someone who'll take care of you if there's a problem. I've ordered from Mike twice and I've been extremely happy both with the product and with the communication and customer service.

True but it's a hell of a lot easier to just buy from ebay. Until Mike gets some sort of online ordering system my business will go to someone else and some other brand.

I just placed a large order with Mike, ratchets (1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 72 tooth), sockets (both Metric and SAE, standard and deep, hex and torx bits) for all drives, screwdrivers (58 piece Pro Set), wrenches (Long, both Metric and SAE), extensions and he had all of it. You make one phone call or email and it will be in the mail, faster than ebay, I would bet. Mike has earned my business and I plan on ordering a whole bunch more from him. Mike is the real deal, not just some ebay'er pedaling a few tools. He will be there today, tomorrow and years from now.

I think the price is about the same.

The drawback with all of the Toptul flexhead ratchets I've seen, is that they only have one detent hole on the ratchet head to keep the head straight. I would prefer at least three, center, forward, and aft.

Has anyone check out the evolv stuff sears carries now? The way the sockets are stamped looks real close to the toptul. Just curious.

? can you link to one of their sockets? i might be looking at the wrong ones...they dont look near toptuls to me...

vs

http://www.wrenhandtools.com/sockets/1-4_6pt.html

toptul has a hexagon shape around the size whereas the evolv stuff has a circle around it and says evolv....

i could always be wrong though...

Nevermind your right, its different when your standing in the store trying to remember what the toptul looks like. I do wonder who makes those evolv sockets though.

Mike I have a question, due to my hate for breaker bars and Toptuls lack of a 24" ratchet is it possible to take the head off the ratchet Merk is talking about and swap it onto the breaker bar?

Speed,

The flex heads are riveted so you would have to go to the trouble to drill it out....tap for a bolt.......
It might work, but I would just use a ratchet adapter (CAQA) to accomplish the same thing.

Just my 2 cents is all.
