I want to purchase some swivel impact deep sockets. I have shallow swivel impact Snap-On sockets. I am considering purchasing some other brands that are cheaper. Does anybody have any experience with sunnex or other brands. I don't see the sockets getting a ton of use but cheap tools can really ****. Just looking to see if there is a good buy out there.

I use the NAPA pro line, they are rebranded Sunex, they are usually in the quarterly sales flier. Have used them on a SO MG325 and IR 2115 with no breakage yet.

Sunex is excellent. They would be the first ones I would turn to. I know they make the deep ones, I assume Gray Pneumatic does as well, but not sure who else.

Half my impacts are Sunex, and I use them professionally every day, NEVER had an issue.

Sunex is easier to warranty than GP. Matco adv is pretty easy to warranty too. Snap on makes my favorite though in these.

There isn't much point to waste the money. Shallows make sense because its shorter than a swivel adapter and a socket together. Deeps however mean you don't care about length so there is no reason to not just use an impact swivel adapter and standard deep sockets.

I like MATCO's because they're pinless and more of a semi deep length. Sunex and Grey Pneumatic versions will serve you well and are quite durable. I just didn't care for the thick collar around the base but, that's just me.

Instead of buying a whole set, why not just get the few sizes you need most:dunno:

Don't forget that every joint you have will reduce the torque at the fastener when impact tools are used.
Deep swivel impact socket will deliver more torque to the nut than swivel adapter and deep impact socket. The extra connection between the swivel adapter and impact socket causes the torque loss.

He's asking about deep sockets. The ones in your link are standard length.

OP, Sunex is a safe bet. I just got the standard length metric swivels for about $76 shipped and they are exceptional quality for the price.

EDIT: Also the sets in that link are weird incomplete sets - for example, I just got Sunex 3657 which runs from 10-19mm with no skips.
