Questions about placing shelf units & workbench on polymer floor tiles

I have (4) 5 shelf storage units as shown below. One of the 3 will be converted to a workbench as seen in the illustration.

I gave up on the idea of epoxy coating my garage floor due to 115 degree temperatures. Instead I am thinking about going with a polymer floor tile similar to Racedeck. I've narrowed it down to the coin top tiles from Modutile.

I'm wondering the following:

Do I tile up to these shelves and workbench and around them or do I tlle wall to wall and place the shelves and workbench on top of the new floor?

Of course the concerns are; will the tiles be strong enough? I suspect they will be since they are intended to have cars parked on them. But these shelves stand on posts at each corner so that's a lot more concentrated force than 4 relatively flat patches of car tire at each corner. They are also very heavy duty and once loaded will be a significant weight on those posts.

Thank you

Keep the tiles that are going under the shelf out in the sun and get them full expanded. Then install them and load em up. At least that is how I would handle it with our tile...

Make sure you leave a 1/2" between the edge of the tile and any walls, posts, etc.

I think the Racedeck might be able to handle a shelving unit or 2.

You can barely see a shelving unit behind the 2 lifts on Racedeck but its there.

I appreciate the input, thank you both. Regarding tiling around the shelves and workbench vs tiling wall to wall and placing them on top of the tile, which would you recommend?

Thanks again.
