Kc tool co. I'm not sure if they have a retail side, but they are south west of the city.

KC Tool has good tools, but I think you'll be underwhelmed as far as a destination to check out while in Kansas City. They're not really setup with a showroom for you to browse tools in. Plus it's a long ways ways from downtown in an industrial park in Olathe, KS.

If there's any good used tool places in KC I've never found them. The pawn shops are delusional on their prices in my experience, but I gave up on them long ago so maybe there are better deals now. Clark's Tool in Claycomo, near the Ford Assembly Plant, has a great showroom of tools, mainly automotive related.

Check out Strausser Hardware on southwest blvd off of I-35 just south of downtown. It is an old two story hardware store.

Well...Epsteins was awesome, as always. Got the full tour, and my youngest son loved it! He's about as big of a tool junkie as I am!
Got my Norseman drill bit set refilled, and picked up a bunch of stuff.
Alpha pawn had some good deals...willing to deal on stuff too.
Straussers looked like one helluva place to see, but was closed when I went by. Definitely have to check them out next time!

Strusser is not worth the time imo. Kc tool had a 80 sqft show room. Clark tool on Shawnee mission parkway is good and not far frI'm the city. 15 minutes maybe. Just sw of ikea.
