Once I found my way around on their incredibly slow, crummy website it appears the 1/2" Drive semi-deep are only available in SAE :dunno:.
Maybe I'll cruise some Euro and Japanese sites and see what's out there.
It's surprising Gearwrench hasn't offered them up.

No, they do a 15-27mm set in mid...I like then for suspension work

New wright usa 1/4 and 3/8 metric, and kobalt organizer.

Interesting thing, the locking detent pegs from wright are damn near identical to the kobalt tray. The retention is good too...

Got a set of the Toptul double box offset wrenches.

LSI7hKo.jpg

They're my first Toptul but I think I'll be getting more soon. I'm pretty happy with the quality for the price.

My set just arrived today as well. Really damn nice.

Don't get too accustomed to the price though, that seller seems to be selling for WAY under what the normal price point is...

I could show off my 3/8 Armstrong socket set that I've been waiting for 2 months for that finally arrived at Napa. But some how they ended up with a 12 point set instead of 6 point. So I guess I'll be taking it back. They didn't get my Armstrong 3/8 Maxx ratchet in yet either.

I see that you live in Missouri. Why don't you order the tools from Harry Epsteins?

If you don't see what you need then send them a note.

Well...I order them from Napa who originally told me that they would be in the following week. Which was in June. The following week they said it would be the middle of July. The middle of July they had no clue. Then the set shows up this past week. I pick it up, assuming it would be correct, get home and it's 12 point instead of 6. I took it back to have them get the 6 point and no sign of the 88 tooth ratchet I ordered the same day yet.

Find another place to buy tools. ;)
You could have had 100 sets by now and my bet is cheaper off Epstein or most of the dealers on eBay. That makes zero sense to wait that long for something so common.

Has anyone used the locknut wrenches vs the Channellock locknut pliers?

I have the pliers on my wishlist but if the specific size wrenches are 100x better ill get those, of course.

I've never used those gb wrenches (but they're now on my short list to buy,) but I've had the pliers for 5 years now or so and they've been great. So much nicer than the old hammer and a screwdriver method.

I had the pliers on a short list to buy, but have run into too many times where a set of handles would be impossible to fit, like inside control boxes of RV Generators. Granted my use is pretty damn specific.

Well they gave me a good deal on it. I really didn't assume it would take that long to get them. Plus I figured it would be easier to get things warrantied through Napa rather than sending it off myself. I know if I don't buy from them they won't warranty it for me.

Old heat gun is going flaky, belonged to my Dad so it must be 25+ years old. Grabbed one at local hardware store for $21 (Canadian).

Well I got one of my two Toptul wrench sets and a cool wittle rat. Man do I like the feel of these wrenches. They are a very thin beam, but ultra smooth, almost silky. I never thought I'd see the day I would say a wrench felt ****. :pimpflash

I want those wrenches!!

If they're as good as claimed, that set was a deal at $50.00

That micro TOPTUL ratchet does look cool.

I missed that when looking on Ebay.

Does that have 72 teeth ?

Nope, on a quarter turn it equals a 44. It's pretty smooth but back drag could be an issue. I'll play with in in the day or so and see. It was so cheap I had to try it. :p

My first dead blow ball pein hammers, first trusty cook hammers as well. Got them through the 30% off deal going on I found in the hot deals thread. They are so sweet! Love how long the handles are. The free mini LED flashlight is cool too!

New OTC ball joint press to replace an older Mac one I had which was damaged by a buddy, who I had actually bought it from a few years back for cheap.

Picked this up yesterday at the flea market. They look new. I checked to see how much the rest of the set was and they are super expensive. I got them for $5. Needed a new set for my home box. First French tool I've ever owned too.

That ball joint set is like the best one you can get. I have a Taiwan Cornwell one that has worked well for me but I used to have the OTC.

it looks a lot like the USA Mac one I had but it was black and the recess in the casting of the frame didn't seem as deep. i bought new tubular control arms for one of the trucks and went to go put ball joints in them last week and realized I didn't have my old press!
