Begin to organize my parts drawers.

Got 50 plastic bins (1.75" tall) installed in the Vidmar P20 drawer (shallowest drawer). Got 20 plastic bins (3.5" tall) to be installed at a later date.

It feels good to organize all the small parts and not be left in the OEM boxes.

What brand are your bins? It looks like they fill the drawer wall to wall. I have some Schaller bins that must be intended for Lista because they don't quite fill the drawer.

I started staining my cedar siding a little while ago. I laid out a large sheet of plastic and am rolling it on, one side at a time. 19 squares of cedar to do plus all of the trim boards. I'll be busy for a couple of days.

Thru my freshly derusted Parker 954 on my stand. I need to build a new stand, although this works for light work.

Been rearranging for the past three days. Took everything off the shelves and rearranged the units. Brought in more shelving from an old storage shed. and am in the process pf putting everything back. This time arranged by type of material and frequency of use.

For the photo freaks, when finished I'll will post a few photos. Its still a bit messy as not everything is put away.

Some may ask or at least be thinking did I throw anything out, not much.

That came out nice; what did you start with for the cart?
It was just a tool stand from a B&M store, I'm thinking probably Canadian Tire. Got it from Kijiji for 15$ and it ended up costing me 40$ for the casters and hardware I needed haha.

Now just need to find a bench grinder.

Stanley. Search on eBay, Amazon, or Wal-Mart for "Stanley bin" and you'll find the parts organizer. $50 shipped for 100 bins.

Schaller is a good alternative but they're twice the price; however, they provide much more variety dimension of bins. I know a lot of ppl in various forums want to find an alternative bins to Schaller but there hasn't been a worthy replacement yet until this one. You should post a thread about it for comparisons of Schaller and Stanley, I can give you the detail/photos.

Have you tried the DXF? I think its the one with dual sides, organic and metallic ... The full ceramic will chatter like a big dog on any kind of slow engagement. Works great, but real grabby ...

No he didn't.
What was in it for <20K miles was the southbend 13125-OK-HD rated for 425HP/850TQ.
What we just put in is the 13125-FEK rated for 550/1100.

Now that the clutch should be up to the task he'd like to dyno the truck to see where it is at. Slightly larger turbo, step up on the injectors, reworked P7100, Banks twin ram intake and air filter, 3 piece ATS exhaust manifold, head studs, reworked 0-ringed head with conical valve springs. Runs decent for a big truck.

Out in the shop today, cutting, grinding, and hammering to remove the original front and rear shock mounts and radius arm mounts from my '70 Bronco frame. It's Texas, the middle of August, and I'm coated in a thick layer of sweat, grinding dust, metal, rust, and dirt.

Gosh, I sure wish fall would get here.

Removed a window and re-framed for AC. Ran wire, hooked up electric, and a friend came out to help me load the unit. It was 100+ by the time I finished so I'm completely worn out. Too old for this heat but tomorrow will be better with partial AC:)

Not much in the garage need to get at reorganizing so I can actually work in there again. Gonna start working on it a little every night after work. Some stuff is gonna be gotten rid of need to make room for my Manley 30 ton press. Had it for years at my BIL and he lost his shop so finally brought it home. This is the foremost project right now.

Backed my HD out of the garage for a nice afternoon ride with the boys and then back in tonight afterward. It was good to get out on two wheels and have good weather to do it.

Busy weekend. I am getting new Clopay Coachman garage doors and openers installed tomorrow so I got my 1950 F1 pickup running and out of the garage then moved everything to the back of the garage to make room for the installers to work. I am also having a new 12 x 10 Tuff Shed TB700 delivered tomorrow so I took down the old metal shed and hauled it off to the scrap yard then leveled the ground as well as I could. I have never seen so many black widows in my life!

I also worked on the 1998 Italjet Dragster I just picked up a few weeks ago. Damn this thing is fun! I have owned classic Vespa and Lambretta scooters for 35 years but this is the first automatic scooter I have ever ridden. It has less than 2,000 original miles on it.

I recently went through the grill purchase last year...

I had an old Charbroil- commercial, 4 burner stainless unit that I bought when I got my first house for ~ $300 in 2006. It either stayed in the garage or under a cover the entire time I had it. It made 2 moves with me. I was going to move it in the garage from the patio for winter & as I was pulling it over the threshold of the door, the casters on the bottom folded. The cabinet along the bottom had rusted.

I found a stainless Genisis, (just like that one) at a salvage / liquidation place for ~$600 which is substantially less than retail. I was elated! F'in A!

I got to looking at the Webber & the cabinet isn't stainless. In fact, there wasn't much difference between it and the Charbroil I had before. The biggest difference is the cast aluminum grill box (?) of the webber.

It was at that point that I realized I could buy a new Charbroil Commercial for $300 still.

If I can make the Charbroil last 8 years like the one before it, I'll just get a new one at that time - ESPECIALLY if the Webber's base is going to rust just as fast at twice the price.

Thanks for the info. We are only on our third grille in 26 years of marriage. Our first one was a used one I got from an old neighbor when they got a new one. It was probably ten year old or so when we got it but I cleaned it up and put a cover over it. Worked great for a few years.

I then too got a Charbroil gas grille that stayed on our back porch with a cover over it. I went through two or three covers in the 10 years we had it.

Our current grille is a Kenmore gas grille that we have had about 12+ years now. Still works ok, I have to remove the burner and clean it again as it is starting to plug up. I had to repair a caster on it about three years ago. It stays in the garage and I wheel it out when needed, cook, let it cool down and wheel it back in. That is probably why it is lasting so long as it doesn't sit outside in the elements.

Saturday while my son serviced his Jeep on the lift, I had to remove my "A" pillar mounted Hella HID lights to machine the bracket a little. I installed new windshield wiper blades on my Jeep and the backbone of the blade is a little further away from the windshield thus catching on the light when sweeping the windshield. I elongated the groove on the mill and bolted everything back together. Now the blade clears the back of the light's housing by a good 3/16" or better.

Yesterday I went over to my neighbors and cut the weeds that were coming through the fence and into my yard. I asked them to cut them several weeks ago and they said they would but haven't seemed to get around to in yet. Personally, I think they were just waiting for me to do it like last time.

Sunday after church my son and I installed new wiper blades on the 1996 suburban, changed the oil in the 93 f-150 and put a new blower motor and a new blower motor resistor in it as well. Productive day!

My son spend the afternoon Saturday replacing the differential fluid in his '06 Charger ~110K miles on it. Its been making some noise recently. Anyone have similar issue or recommendations what to check next if this doesn't help?

Thx..

Mike, might be time for some gasoline or rock salt to fix 'their' problem.

Made a jig for holding small lengths of round stock when drilling.
Two different size beveled slots at either end.

Believe me, I thought long and hard about that but my fence would probably look a little worse for it.:willy_nil Anyway, I have tried to be "neighborly" about it but that doesn't seem to be working. My wife tells me I can be a bit "abrasive" when I am tired of dealing with people so I have been trying to work on being better about that. However, I don't want my property to look like **** because I don't want to offend someone either.:dunno:
