BTW, if you want the other one before I change my mind and pick it up too. It is in Brooksville, FL. Not sure if any others stores have them for this price.

If you are in Tampa and want one, let me know I can pick it up and meet you.

Go to your local ad and if your store has it in stock it will show $99. I just bought one and it automatically took off 10% for friends and family. I had a bunch of points and got it for $5. Thanks Ericgst!

That is the 20 Volt Model, which is not near as powerful as the newer 40 Volt Line. Now if that were the 40 Volt Trimmer for $99, then you would have a bargain.

My brother has a 18v trimmer from Greenworks (or something) and I'm not impressed by it and that's his first trimmer. I've heard great reviews on 40V+ system and that's what I would invest in. Otherwise, a refurbished $50 25cc straight trimmer will work wonder.

Me too.. I had a 18v ryobi string trimmer,,,hybrid one..battery and ac cord too...
I even put on the big 4ah battery on it..... Damn thing was weak as ****....
returned it after 2hr use....POS...went back to ryobi gas trimmer... power...
dewalt 20v ?? don;t know but I wouldn't buy it either....looks to be weak ...

If I had to buy a cordless battery one... It would have to be the 56v Echo string trimmer....now that thing has power that will compare with gas trimmers...
and then stay with echo....to get their cordless stuff...maybe the chainsaw...

I expect Dewalt is discontinuing and liquidating those 20 Volt Trimmers. I have the Dewalt 40 Volt Hand-Held Blower, which is pretty awesome, but still only provides about 20-25 minutes of run time.

I stopped by this morning, but unfortunatly they weren't open yet and I had to get to work. By time I got back they were sold out.

Pulled mine out of the box today and tried it out. Noticeably less power than my 2 stroke but is light and pretty balanced. Reminds me a lot of those corded Weedeater branded trimmers I used to use all the time. Should work nicely for what I need. Very sweet deal considering it comes with a 5ah battery and charger!
