Finally got around to installing the opener this past weekend. UPS lost my package and the opener was MIA for about a week and a half.

I hate UPS by the way. This is the third time they have done that to me.

Anyway, on to the pics!

How much did the unit cost with shipping and what exactly did you get as part of the package (10 key pad, battery back up, etc)? Thanks

$285 shipped to the door from 365garagedoorparts on Ebay.

Came with opener, lighted control you see in pic, cable tension monitor, electric door lock, remote light, one remote for car with backlight, sensors for door.

The battery backup, and 10 key pad are purchased separately.

Yeah I can't beat those ebay guys, I am not even sure how they make any money? I pay more than 285 at my DC and if I bought them direct from LM. At 285 it costs them over 25 bucks in ebay/ paypal fees not too mention the shipping? They would need to get them for less thanunder 235 bucks to break even.

Anyway sorry for the ramble. Looks like you did a great job on the install!

OMG, yes. I have two and they are awesome. Quiet and fast. They take up no room at all and look 1,000 times better than those things hanging from the ceiling.

I'm sure they probably steal them off a truck somewhere. Which is fine by me, as long as they have the low prices! haha

Im guessing they're hot. There's no way those guys are selling them that cheap honestly.

X2 on the good installation.

nathank, Great Job! I purchased 2 of them and just waiting for the home to be built. I was going to have them installed but I may do it myself now. Did you plug the light into wall socket? I believe it is wireless am I correct? Anything special we should know for the do it yourselfers doing the install? I have not opened the boxes yet so how does the opener bolt to the torsion rod? Do you bolt the opener to the wall or is there a bracket. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

I recently had two of them install along with two new doors. So far I think they are great. I just wish i could have found some rails that looked better then the standard ones. I was going to get them power coated but the price was a bit too much. Has anyone know of a place that sells rails and angle iron that would look better on my tounge and groove pine boards?

FYI I paid $400.00 each installed

I bought mine from ebay seller OPENDOORLLC for $299 delivered. I received the package in three days via UPS. The unit was easy to install and works flawless on my 16' x 8' Raynor insulated door. The auto-lock and wireless light are great features and I especially like that I can "lock-out" signals from remote controls (i.e. you have to press the button on the control panel to open the door). For security purposes, I don't want to worry about anyone being able to open my door!

FWIW, there is a Liftmaster dealer within 6 miles of where I live, and he priced the unit to me for $599 + 6% sales tax. I like to "buy local" and help small businesses, but I'm not too eager to get raped by them, either! I spoke with OPENDOORLLC on the phone prior to making my purchase and found them to be very helpful and able to answer all of my questions. I would definitely buy from them again!
