My father and I recently decided to upgrade from the crappy (actually not bad) portable Hitachi table saw to a 10" Unisaw. We looked on the net and scanned local papers...he wanted a newer one and I wanted a classic looking saw. I found this one on CL. The owner was a former shop teacher with an amazing shop of his own. I paid decent money for both the saw and the drill press, but they work and are in good shape. The saw is missing the original guide (hint hint) but it works great. I think it is from the late 70s...not sure. Ideas?

I am so excited to use this bad boy. :bounce:

Drill press...love the styling. Some parts are not original, but I am going to find them eventually.

I paid $1200 for the saw, the drill press, a jet shaper, and a large shop vac. Hopefully I didn't overpay too much...

I thought it was a fair price, but definitely not a steal. I've been looking for a while and unisaws are expensive! Except when you find a 1947 model at the dump... :)

The miter gauge...sorry. The motor is wired for 120v and I believe it is 1.5 horsepower.

that wasn't a bad price for all that.
Yes, not a steal, but not a bad price.
I paid about $600.00 for a Uni like that.
I put a Bies fence on it.
I had paid $80.00 fro the fence from Lowes a while back.
Sold the Jet loc for $100.00
What year is the Uni?
