Anyone got a International 7321 box?

Just wondering if someone had a SPG International 73" 21 drawer box. And if so is there room in the top drawer to stand up-up to 1/2 deep sockets on Ernst rails as well as do the thinner drawers handle diagonal wrench management.

Thanks and here's link about the box. There's a local guy to me that sells these things for $2,100. That's what makes it appealing.

I wonder if this is the old Stanley Works of Canada that used to make the Husky boxes?

I have the VRB 4211 from SPG, and in terms of vertical space, I haven't had any problem with 1/2" deep sockets (Though I only have a few) on Hansen style trays. As for the wrenches, the only shallow drawer on mine is a nominal 2" drawer, so I think about 1 7/8" actual depth (I can double check after work). worst case scenario, if that is indeed the drawer layout of the one your local guy is selling, I would just skip over the real shallow drawers, using them for measuring devices, pliers, screw drivers, etc. Frankly with how I have my boxes laid out, I wouldn't mind a few extra shallow drawers in lieu of the deeper ones.

The majority of my 1/2" sockets fit standing up, with the exception of a few large ones (The socket in the corner is a 35mm deep socket, which measures 3.5" tall).

The biggest wrench in the box right now is a 1-1/4", which is sitting on Ernst rails.

Thanks Bany that's a big help. How is the socket drawer working out with the weight, I heard the SPG's give it up and sag bad. My other issue is the wrenches, this is the same problem I have with my KRL, nothing bigger then 1-1/8" on racks which kills it for me. I got way too much **** to be able to lay it flat.

It racks ever so slightly if you try to open it with one hand in the centre (it doesn't jamb, but you hear the sockets rattle a little). If you use two hands it's fine. The rest of the drawers open and close with one finger

This is just a home-use box, and a huge improvement over my old friction slide craftsmen box.

The SPG SHD (super heavy duty) and the SPG value series are miles apart. For comparison;
54" SPG SDH - 544lbs
56" SPG Tech Series (Value Series) - 320lbs

And if you don't mind supporting your neighbour the SHD boxes are made in Canada (or at least assembled)

Thanks again Bany. If you're having that issue with the socket drawer I'll kill it with what I have. I'm up for supporting our brothers in the northern parts eh, got several buddies up there. But I don't want to blow a couple grand for the sake of blowing a couple grand on a new box. But I do like the amount of drawers, just not the depth.

and agree with what Bany says. I could load mine pretty good but if I seriously overload it, or if I wrenched for a living, it wouldn't last too long. For my needs it is a great value.

The value series drawers are rated at 100 pounds. The SHD drawers are rated at 120 and 240 for the deeper drawers.
