The 3/8" big brother to my 1/4" SK set arrived on Friday, as well as a 1/4" Dual 80 flex head, but I forgot my camera at work.

Picked up the new snap on stud remover and installer set yesterday. Got the metric one first. Standard one had to be order.4d5ad4542ede59010f809138231e5095.jpg
Then also picked up this flashlight also. It's bright for how small it is and was 23 bucks fe459184dd739c1979b1ba8f6823d29a.jpg

I have the speedier hybrid hose and it is not the same as the flexzilla hose. It is a decent hose and I was happy with it for $12, but no may is it as flexible as my flexzilla hoses.

Amish Fury is that a 3/8 ratchet and if you dont mind what did matco get you for on that. I need one that size.

this one is the 1/2" omfglong handle (overall length is a tad shy of 26")... i got mine off ebay for a little under $150... matco wants a hair under $230

the condition on this one was listed as used... i'd bet on barely used if actually used at all.... wouldn't be shocked if it actually just sat in someone's toolbox

in locking flex the longest is the 12ish" handle BFR128LFT but you can get the armstrong version for less (unless you get a good deal on ebay)

Is there some sort of benefit to this? They already have 2 or 3 different sets. Not trying to **** on your new purchase but it looks cheap, like something Craftsman would release with that oversized blow molded case, black phosphate finish, and laser etching. Asian COO?

Those are a bit cheesy for what they are, you could make them if you wanted to. Basically it is a fancy double nut for removal and a threaded unit with a setscrew stopper for installation.

My very first HJE order. Long handled Armstrong 1/2" ratchet. Got the basic one for the truck box. Probably invest in the Maxx flex for the service truck.

Why do you like it better if it is exactly the same? I have swapped to pretty much all flexzilla stuff and have no complaints.

Where did you get that? Is it 3/8'' coarse? I could use it.

It's 3/8" - 16. High speed steel.

I got it from a local industrial tool place. Cost 14 bucks, made in Bosnia. All of the similar ones they sold (same length, thread) cost $35 or more, website does not list country of origin.

It worked great for what we needed it for. Used it for four holes. Before, I couldn't turn the bolts in by hand, now I can turn them all the way in by hand. It is currently the only tap I own.

The only weird thing about it is that it's a reduced-shank thickness tap, so the square drive on the end was an odd size - it was too small for my dad's big tap holder, but it was too big for the small tap holder he had.

He was comparing the speedair hose to the flexzilla, then said he likes the bluebird one better. So he was not comparing the flexzilla to the bluebird, but the speedair to the bluebird. Does that make sense? :willy_nil

It does.

To the OP then, why is the Bluebird better? What do you use it for primarily? Mine are all used for paint and body areas and take a heavy beating.

Needed a good torx driver set. T15 - T30.

Also got these Gray flare nut wrenches. Canadians, take note - these things are every bit as nice as Snap On/MAC flare wrenches- maybe even nicer. Seriously, I have never seen a more 'perfect' set of wrenches haha.. sounds weird to say but they are literally flawless. Can't wait to use them.

Got these today. I originally planned on just buying a 12mm and 14mm. Instead Driver knocked $100 off the price of the whole set. Sounded good to me227ddf0ff1629bc4f02132e0dda4dd63.jpg

Better question is why didnt they use windows 8 since its made for touch devices. As far as windows 10, companies in general never use new operating systems on diagnostic hardware. Too many stability issues. They use an operating system that is a known quantity.

Well, I guess I wasn't too far off on it being like something Craftsman would release then. How boring. That's what happens when you try to come out with new products every month.

I've been eyeing those flare nut wrenches, when they're on sale in the flyer I'll be sure to pick them up.

I'm thinking of picking up the 3/8 and 1/4 complete sets in this flyer. But talk is cheap...
