AA has a small listing on Lane tools. Your ratchet looks like the 1908 patent.

Yes, he doesn't care about value and simply wanted it on the wall in his garage with other old tools and his Shelby GT. He retires next month.

I have the same ratchet you have pictured in what I assume is original surviving condition. The ratchet gear on mine shows considerable wear. I think I also have some of the original sockets to go with the ratchet. I bought an old tool box for $10.00 at a church sale. The collection also included another old ratchet called a clutch tool manufactured in the 20's here in Indy and a Ford N tractor tool set. Anybody have any idea of the value or collector interest in the Unique ratchet?
