A locksmith should be able to cut keys based upon those 2 codes.
The lock was installed in one piece, so yes it will tilt out of that hole, once the nut is removed. The nut will slide out off over the cam. When you rent a Post Office box, they change the lock in one piece. The one on the far right is from a P.O. box and the cam is permanently attached like yours.
Well I just unloaded the Beach stack I posted about before. Went and got it tonight with my best friend. At 500$ plus gas and toll it's probably more than mostly anyone here would have paid but it worked for me. I needed a toolbox, and I'd been looking for a vintage Beach combo in good shape for a long time so it fit the bill.
Will post some pictures of it when I have a chance to get it cleaned up, the old guy who had it before the guy I bought it from must have done some woodworking because it's full of dust. Probably brought back a bit of PEI red dirt along with it too.![]()

Thanks. Now I'm just waiting for the inevitable. It's twin is obviously going to pop up locally for half the price now that I've bought one.
Guy was also selling an '09 G8 GT, damn that's a nice car.

TimCA: cool Beach boxes and i like the quality of them easily as much as other quality boxes so i don't think you overpaid. sounds like a fun trip too.

Here is a Dayton combo I bought at a garage sale for $55. After putting new locks on it, some minor fixin' and lubing and cleaning, I swapped it to a co-worker for a bunch of wrenches. I thought that it was pretty well put together: original paint had held up with no major rust, drawer slides were easy to repair, and the sheet metal was thick enough that it had few dents. A lot better than some newer boxes anyway. I wish I knew when it was made.

Nice job saving that cart.
What are you going to use it for ?
If you want to look in my drawers .................

You're asking us to look into your drawers ?!?
Dude - this is an internet forum, not a highway reststop restroom.![]()

Do machinist's boxes count? Cuz I have a bunch of those.

4 are Kennedy, 2 Gerstner, 1 Union, 1 with no marks, and 1 with a faded decal that might be a Star. The mechanics box with the dogshit brown paintjob is an older Mac box. I also have a wide 7 drawer Kennedy that lives next to my drill presses just for drills.
No, they're not ALL full... not anymore at least. I recently bought a nice 60's-70's vintage Craftsman ball bearing roller chest and I moved all my taps and dies and my indicators into there, so I've got some drawers to fill.
If you want to look in my drawers I've got a little video tour at:

No Huot machinist's chest yet?
Some, but mostly bottoms.
I have two tops and two bottoms, a 50's/60's top and the rest are 60's/70's, but still haven't found the time to do anything with them yet.
There are others posted in other threads around the forum.
