I also finally went out ...

I lightened the car by 130 kg, was given a new chassis, stabilizer into unibal, new seats, seat belts, steering wheel, pedals, shift transmission, digital alarm clock, shift light, a second wiper, skid etc. etc. Somehow the winter dragged on work :)

This is such a great thread. Thanks for sharing your garage and car work.

It's amazing how garage journal goes across the world. A question: Are you able to read english or do you run through google translator to answer each question asked of you?

Thank you all...

bww_mnm: On this forum brought me my big role model Jack Olsen. From school I can only basic English, so I use Google Translate.

stoffels: Thank you. With SJ CAM 4000 I am satisfied, but no film footage still do not. So far I only have photos of the interior (4th and 5th picture up here).

Over the weekend I tested the camera SJCAM 4000 WiFi. I bought a suction cup on the glass from AEE, but it seems to be insufficient or that I was too tough chassis? :)

New to this site but this is a great thread you have going the Skoda is pretty darn cool!

My oldest daughter lived in Prague for a year so my wife and I visited saw some sights, drank a few Pilsners among other beer there. Great country!

Beautiful country!

I like your car very much. Your garage looks also very good. My first car was a 1999 Skoda Octavia 1U 1.6. My parents are now driving it. the car has drive 245.000km without problems.

Today I have fulfilled a dream to photograph their car with the best rally special in the Czech Republic - Skoda 130LR by Petr Šimurda.

Even funnier, I was at the same place on Sunday, there was a Hare Krishna parade during the time we ate lunch. I had an original Budweiser in addition to a Pilsner Urquell which was far better that the pi$$ water they sell under that brand here in the states. I really would like to go back. My wife had been there when it was under the communists and it is amazing the transformation from those times.

Original Budweiser, like this?

Brought that bottle back from Germany in 2006, just because of the fight between Budvar & A-B. BTW, it's unopened, I can't stand the taste of beer.

What a great garage and fun thread to follow. Love the cars, and WOW, that's one clean garage. Even in your 'messy' shots things are clean, nice work :)

I will be in Prague later this month with a group of students studying the cold war. This will be a new experience for me. During my military time in Germany there was an impressive fence between what is now the Czech Republic and West Germany. There is a cold war museum in Prague and that is the reason for our visit. We have a little time and I am hoping to see more of the city and some of the countryside. I will be looking for a very fast yellow Skoda with gold wheels.
