this is what kills me... i ordered them on the 12th and they were cancelled... ordered again on saturday and they were once again cancelled... ordered yet again this morning and they were cancelled

yet people who ordered AFTER my initial order have had theirs shipped

i will be calling


also this arrived today... the box they shipped it in would have been big enough to ship all the closeout pliers in...

Exactly. Yet they will still wonder once the company goes completely belly up why.
I'm gonna call back tomorrow and complain which I shoulda did earlier on the phone

it's not entitlement... i placed an order and items that were cancelled were apparently not out of stock if people who ordered a week later were able to get theirs shipped... imagine if you walked into a store for a special deal, got in a line for the deal, your turn comes up and they say sorry we ran out, then as you step out of line they find more but instead of saying "we found more" to you they hand one to the person behind you... essentially the same thing here

and i'm not going to give them a hard time because i'm not that jackhole who yells and screams and demands they figuratively fondle my nethers however i feel i should on the very principal of the matter let them know i am disappointed... i couldn't care less if all i got from the call is an insincere apology

Was on a business trip to Austin and went shortly to Sears. Cheap evolv SAE set and a pybar.
The socket set won´t see much use as its just du do minor repairs on my stepdads harley. So I couldn´t justify a full craftsman set. The prybars aren´t common over here and they are redicoulusly expensive so its a good haul

Does the multi-bit Switz Tool Professional screwdriver work like the older Autoloader screwdrivers (it stores the screwdriver bits or here the entire shafts inside the screwdriver handle)?

If you still have the packaging, would you mind taking a picture of the backside?

Kunk, my driver knows I like green, they kind of sold themselves. Of course he knocked off some money and that helped too. I am pretty sure you can order them, but they are not for the faint of heart. I am just glad they didn't have a 1/4" version.

On another note, my truck came today. I asked my driver about the 1/2'' wrench and he said he could get it in green! Gotta pay off a bit on the account, then I see it in my future

Whats the P/N on those? Mine don't have that much green around the display... now I'm jealous!

The ½" one is PN ATECH3F250VG and the ⅜" one is PN ATECH2F100VG

One thing I will mention is that they are "assembled in the USA" versus made in the USA.

Those (which always bend, in my experience) and the ones with the push button spring deal. You don't have to worry about it switching from internal to external with these guys!

Grabbed these today from the parts store. They were normally $24.99, but I had a $10 off coupon, making them a bit under $17 after sales tax. Powerbuilt low profile metrics. 12pt. I don't know if they are the same OEM as MAC's low pros... but given that the Zeons were, and were nice... I called these worth the grab. Especially at the coupon price. Like the Zeons, they are a little oddly spaced/sized out...so there will be a little fleshing out over the next few weeks to fill in what I think are essential sizes (ie: 19mm, set only goes to 18mm), perhaps an 11mm. Almost nothing uses 9mm. Can't complain too much either way.

SK 3/8th metric socket set , SK 1/4 metric and sae sets , Williams 1/2 Sae socket set . Also an SK 3 piece sae line wrench set. These are all vintage , I believe the SK is from the Dresser era , if I wrong please let me know. As far as the Williams , I have no idea the date on this set if anyone know please inform me. Wright 3/8th metric 6-19 socket set and Craftsman Premium 3/8th ratchet, got the Wright and Craftsman a few months ago.

I needed the 10 mm universal for the thermostat housing on my wife's car. Nobody in the area has a metric set so I had to buy a $25.00 single Proto.

They were $1.00 each. A place called Tools R Us in Montclare, CA has a box full of the SK sockets. They are all marked a buck. I only needed the 9/16 but I couldn't pass up the price.

The Proto universal looks and feels pretty solid. They had Proto, Williams, VIM and some cheaper stuff too but I don't remember the names.

The store is kind of random. It looks like they specialize in mostly Bosch, Dewalt and Millwakie power tools.

How do you like the ball grip craftsman screwdriver. I bought the phillips and the flat a while back. Pretty impressed with the grip and the quality so far even for overseas screwdriver.

I walked in and they wet on counter guy just sold them for cash and I just asked what was bot to line and manager said 60 bucks also got 5 pairs of old Peterson vice grips and 5 pairs of channel locks for 20 but they all have some wear on them but great for tractor toolboxes.
