It has been a long time since the announcement. I suppose it was just a teaser, that bar was not released.

SK releases new tools at a snail's pace....look how long the ratcheting wrenches took...Mac wasn't any better with there new 90 tooth ratchets. Maybe it's a marketing ploy

$140? For not a lot more you could get the Snap On SN36 1/2 breaker bar.

Edit: I didn't read the links correctly. $83 for the 1/2 30" long bar. Seeing all the threads on here about modern ratchet designs being stronger than the actual drive, I am curious how many of these SK thinks they are going to sell?

Being old...

Lazy...

And...

Poor...

I've got to go with one of these...

24" Long 1/2" Drive Tekton Ratchet...# 35.99...

I realize it's not made here, but I'm old, lazy and poor, and it works for me...

I dont think those prices are bad at all for what they are. Plus S-K warranty. Hope to see them on the market. Wouldn't that be the first US made one piece 3/4" breaker bar of such a length. Snap on has them beat with the 1/2".

Edit: I see Matco has a longer one, 36"

That is a excellent deal on the 3/4 breaker. Im so sick and tired of lugging pipes around.
