KEWL! Been looking into getting a civilian version between 46 and 52
GOOD JOB! You have the 4.86 or 5.83 ?

Thanks KC;
The civy ones are great, much the same drivetrain but with a longer cargo box and a nice closed cab. I would like to have one but since several stripped M37s were given to me and I was able to make a complete one out of doner trucks this is what I have. It has the orig 5:83 rears so it's top speed is only about 50mph but I only drive it around 45 to keep from having it all fly apart. It has a orig. 95hp flathead engine, 24v. waterproof electrical system, 2 speed transfer and the winch is an 8000lb pto driven one and will pull a lot as long as the engine is running. It was in really bad shape when I got it a lot of stuff was missing, I have done a frame up resto. on it and taken 1st place a couple of times at the military vehicle rally here at Aberdeen Maryland.

Resto album shots here:

TOUGH TRUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbup:

Thanks Man, it was a lot of work to do without any help. I did the blasting, body and engine work, welding, painting, electrical, drivetrain rebuild ect. Everything! I even built and wired the conc. block garage with grease pit in the floor that I did the work in. :)

Story goes:
Been looking long time for civilian Power Wagon but work and life always kept me busy, came close on buying before. Then I came across truck for sale in late October 2015 it was in California. Had it shipped up in December. Talk about building something solid in the old days ! Whats funny when driving down road I have to look down at reg 4x4's and the one that are lifted or just have huge tires are eye level. Anyhow here are more pictures
