Just ran across some new Knipex sets on Mobile Distributor Supply.
Looks like they lowered the prices on some as well.

Don't forget to use coupon code KNIPEX for free shipping if your order is under $49.

Thanks for the post GTO, always appreciate people posting the deals! But you're a little late to the party, this was posted a few months ago and you were the last one to comment in that thread. Not sure why you posted it again?

The old post got a little off topic and they added some new cobra sets. Figured I would let everyone know.

Thanks for the info. Just looked at a the 10" plierswrench at Menards but this seems to be a better deal. Always liked Knipex. Great product.

Hmm, okay. Google shopping seems to bring up slightly lower prices but you have to pay shipping at a lot of stores unless you go over $75. Which, if you're buying Knipex, you're going to go over $75, lol.

I don't keep up with knipex pricing so I don't know if all the stores that I'm seeing are having the same sale.

I received my two 10' knipex cobra pliers, neither were packaged (other than the outer box) and a folded mouse pad that is unusable now that it has a huge fold in it, but the pliers look brand new and function properly so I am ok with it.

Lol I remember the days of mouse pads. I am assuming it was free with the purchase?

Yes, it was free - they either figured I'd use it or they were just using to to protect the pliers in the shipping packaging. Either way its in the trash.

The first link shows their forged pliers with very strong spring steel tip inserts. The cheaper set is like other sets in that they are all one piece with ground tips. They are still nicer than most because the tips are strong and they are made like a regular pair of pliers instead of being made from stamped steel. A possible downside to this is that they are not reversible, so you really need twice as many pliers to do everything compared to many other brands.

If you order big enough stuff the mouse pad comes in handy. Love my 3pc Plier Wrench set. Cranked on some plumbing to install a new gas water heater and these kicked 4ss.
