  1. Add 1x $25 Amazon Gift Card to cart
  2. Apply promo code STUDWEEK in the "Gift Cards and Promotional Codes" box at checkout to qualify
  3. After your gift card ships, you'll receive an email containing a code for a $5 promotional credit.
Note, credit will expire on November 22, 2015

Odd, I'm a Student Prime member and the code is not working.

First tried doing it with an emailed gift card. Only works with a physically mailed card.

Thanks for clearing that up. I'm a student member and didn't pay attention to that bit of "fine print".

Glad you got it working! I'm always buying stuff from amazon so a few extra bucks doesn't hurt. ;)

Google search of the 10 off 50 code returns a page which indicates it's targeted for specific customers

I just ordered another $50 card a minute ago. I didn't even have to enter the code again. It already said I qualified for the $10 credit.

Wow - this thing still works! Just got another $10 credit on a $50 gift card.
Anybody know how long this will work?

I still get:

The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.

Same here. :dunno:

Edit:
I logged out of my finances account, who has Prime Student, and into my separate account. The 1015GCARDS code works now....

Did you guys order 1 gift card at a time or place a batch order?
I placed 2 separate orders within a few minutes of each other. No problem. Also tried to order one $100 card but that still gave only the $10 credit. HTH

I ordered one then a second the next morning. Both showed the promotion before I submitted but they only issued me one $10 credit.

I just now chatted with them and was told it's only good once. They issued me a $10 credit though when I said both orders showed as qualified for the promotion.

Has anyone else done a deal like this before through amazon? How does the credit appear? Where do you go to check that it's been applied? I bought something a couple of months back that came with a $1 credit for downloading music/films, and I know I got an email that I had that credit, but I don't know where it is in my account either.

Thanks

I got an email a couple days after ordering the gift card. I didn't see the credit anywhere in my account settings but it was there the next time I tried to order something.

Email received and $10 "Gift Card Promotion" credit for the first $50 gift card appeared in my account about 36 hours after purchase.

Took a couple emails to Amazon before I got a $10 "courtesy credit" for the second $50 gift card I bought myself.

Supposed to be a one time offer but currently when I add yet another $50 gift card to my cart it still says that my order qualifies for the promo.
