How do these trays compare with the WalMart / Olympia trays + Rack + cheapie hardware assortment for $120?

Do the trays as per the OP's first post have plastic trays or just metal dividers?

Plastic trays, steel exterior and hardware, good build quality (exceptional for $11). I have noticed small unpainted areas under the tray, so you may want to touch the paint up there (you cannot see that area normally, but it could rust). I really love these . They are sooo much better than the plastic boxes.

Be aware that the morons that ship these do not tape up the box. It just has ears that fold into slots and could easily open during shipping. Not sure how they think that is ok, but I have gotten 2 (safely) that way from amazon.

They have very durable heavy duty plastic trays. I have bought them before, and am VERY impressed with the quality. The trays are easily removable as well.

As another poster mentioned, Amazon does not pack them well at times, and they sometimes get dented. They ought to be double boxed, but that usually doe snot happen.

I ordered four and just got a notice I have four separate deliveries coming. Why ship separate. I mean it is not even 1 of 4. It is 4 separate tracking numbers.

Anyone have photos of either of the linked units filled with stuff? From the measurements and photos it looks like the 16 compartment one the bins are what 3" x 2" or so and the 24" the compartments are 2" x 2" and 3" x 2"

Am I in the ballpark? Just trying to decide if I get one of those 6 drawer units whats the best way to configure them. I don't have enough hardware now to really fill up one but you know I will at some point.

The 4x4 are 2 1/4" x 3 1/4".

The 6x4 are 2 x 2 1/4" & the last column is ~2 1/4" x 3 1/4".

Mine came yesterday via UPS, 4 seperate boxes, could have all gone in one larger box w/o being oversize. At least they were all in good shape, not dinged up like my last AMZ order.

My 4 boxes were just delivered and I would have been pleased with the quality at twice the price. I immediately ordered 2 more with a view to eventually filling one of the drawer cabinets.
