I've seen those work well, but mostly to keep out drafts and windblown debris. Not really a 'water gasket'. Have you got drainage / accumulation problems at the door? Anything you can do to channel roof runoff or relocate gutter downspouts so water isn't puddling at the garage? Maybe a saw-cut slit across the threshhold, channeling to a french drain along the driveway?

If you could better describe the problem you are trying to solve, folks could possibly make better solution suggestions.

I have grass is front of the pad and gutters so no issues with runoff or puddling...the pad is the high point. When rain is blown on the door it will run down the door then a small amount will work its way under the door. The seal on the door is brand new and seals tight, as are the sides.

Every time it rained, we had a stream of water coming under our garage door. Old 50's house. Cracked concrete, very uneven.

I bought that tsunami seal. And we haven't had any water come in since then. It's been approx 6 months since installing it. I recommend it.

Is the concrete in the door opening 'sloped' towards the outside?

Yes it is, but the pad just barely slopes from left to right across the door so the water is able to sneak by the seal on the one side.

Thanks for the info!

The Tsunami Seal worked for me with similar issue, intrusion only when rain blew against the door. The floor under door also had low spots and this seal made up the difference.
