Picked up the first one. Second one seems to be unavailable.

That is the cheapest I have ever seen them. The first year or so they were offered, they never went on sale.

Only draw back is if you have to warranty one, you need to bring in the whole set as for a full swap out as they do not sell individual spares.

Maybe I am missing something, but how exactly would these work? Do they lock?

At the elbow point is a indexing button you push out, adjust and then push back in to lock.

I have had a set for about three years now and used only once.

Ordered both sets off Slickdeals..... Thanks OP ......I guess [emoji38][emoji38][emoji38][emoji38][emoji38]

For $25 after points I can't go wrong and if so I can always blame "Kneeman"

I guess for $20 it's a decent set.. looks like something that could snap easily though.. same reason why I don't have flex head ratchets and wrenches. These could be good for getting at nuts and bolts that have stuff in the way, but they would be a lot better if they were reversible. Anyway, like 06GMC said, shows none in stock around here

Who knows?
Having yet another wrench with yet another open end kills it for me.

They've got a DBE set that also has the locking elbows. I'd buy that set.

I will say though, if I was buying a first set of wrenches I'd give it a gamble.

I got a set. Used some sywr points, $14 for 7 wrenches.

These are the first craftsman wrenches I'm actually somewhat disappointed about.

Ok, a few cosmetic blemishes, but the elbow joint lock mechanism just *****. 5 of 7 wrenches have side to side wobble at the elbow. One wrench needs a hammer and punch to move the elbow lock button from on to off and vice versa, otherwise it's stuck. Another wrench never fully goes into the unlock position as it constantly clicks at the elbow when moving back and forth despite being in the full unlocked position. 2 wrenches lock buttons are so loose, they'll flop back and forth between lock and unlock.

Overall, they're totally worth the $2/wrench I paid so I'm keeping them permanently in the unlocked position as I can see use as obstruction wrenches. They're potential knuckle scrapers if I'm trusting these to lock. If I paid regular price, I'd be quite annoyed.
