I bought this today and am wondering if it was a good buy. Can anyone tell me or have a clue on its age or value? It's heavy. About 50lbs. I'm thinking about parting it outor should u attempt a restoration? Thoughts? Ideas? HELP!

I don't know much about that model. Have you measured the belt size to see if it's still common? Or checked Vintage Machinery to see if they indicate what size it is?

Otherwise, if the platen is flat I think that would be a very useful tool to have. Sometimes the platen on those can get cupped over time. Check with straight edge and a feeler gauge if you have one.

Don't know if it's a good deal if you don't say what you paid...

If it runs I would clean it and put it to work. One problem is that is not a common enough model that parting it out will have a bunch of people wanting the parts.
Those are simple machines, bearings are easy if it needs them. Get it running good and use it or sell it

My guess is 50s

That's a good buy. I would not pay more than $50 for it.
They are a nice machine to have. If you don't already have one then get this one going and use it

I could be wrong, but I think that Delta eventually bought out Walker/Turner, and used this same design for years. I have a similar one and it works nice.
