I plan to be there on at least the 10th. Its always a great show. I don't have near deep enough pockets, but its still fun to dream.

Same here.

Last time I went like 7 years ago I got a ton of freebies plus I won a nice face mask in a drawing.

That would be a great show to visit, I can't contain all the ideas running through my brain now. After a day in there it would be madness. The 9th my anniversary, so my wife would be cool with it.

Getting close, I have down loaded the app for my phone and made a list of the venders I know I want to see, wish I could do more than 1 day.

Is anyone else going to be there on the 11th?

I'm signed up but not sure I'll be going. It's silly as I live just outside of Chicago and it's only a 45 minute drive to the show but we'll see.

I'm pretty sure I'm locked in for the 10th, my welding supply rep and a buddy from another shop are all car-pooling down from Holland. Gonna be a fun time.

I'm eager to check out what they have for purge monitors and a medium sized press brake. I also want to talk to the Metabo rep and see why their band file costs so much more than Dynabrade's. I'm looking to get a new one.

One of the things that I am looking for is a stick welder, I haven't had one in the shop in over 10 years since my Lincoln AC/DC tombstone died.

I am working the show stop by the Wheelabrator booth and ask for Rob. Working today seems to be a pretty good turnout.

Sorry I missed you guys, I got ******* testing out some of the welders and chatting with Ian Johnson at the ESAB booth.

Over all I had a blast and have lots of swag, between the boy and I we have 4 full totes of stuff, well worth the trip.

I also bought a drycut saw while I was there, got a great deal on the demo model they knocked an extra $75 off the show special and are going to include a new blade with it when they ship it after the show.

Hey nice looking saw. Any idea if its a unique model to CS Unitec or if its a rebadge? Can you tell me more about the miter cutting version?

I believe its the 9410 ND? I cant find a single online source for pricing?

I should have it in the next week or so I will pass along what info I can then.

This saw struck me when I saw it sitting there, heavy cast alum base, fixed stops for the mitre angles, and a good solid feeling vise.

When I actually got to make a few cuts with it I was sold.

I was actually being shown all the features by the factory rep, with a real German accent btw, He knew the saw inside and out and was able to show as well as describe the features.

The blade can be resharpened up to 5 times, which was another selling point.

Very cool. So did you get the miter version or the one posted above (unless that miters?).

And did they mention anything about it being a rebadge or is it unique? All chop saws look pretty similar but I have been on a quest to find the best Dry Cut saw out there.

Right now I have a Hitachi CD14F. I have had the Dewalt, Evolution, and the Milwaukee, while all have their strengths, Hitachi is top so far.

But to have the built in 45 miter stops, and not turn the entire base would be great.

The one I got will do up to a 45* miter with the built in stop, the rear jaw on the vise turns.

It is not a rebadge as far as I know, the factory rep was really proud of it that's for sure.

Of all the saws I have used this one seems to be the best, I think the difference is the cast alum base and the blade stablizers.
