Not in my area. Just checked HD and they are full price. I have one but a friend of mine is looking for one similar to mine. Great compressor.

That is a newer model that is also on sale. I've been watching it on Amazon. They aren't price-matching Home Depot yet on this particular model. I have some Amazon gift cards that I have been wanting to use on this purchase.
.If that meets your needs fine. Shipping those has not been good. Very high damage rate.
I bought a CAT 4620A from Amazon that was "returned" but in "full working order". Maybe it was when Amazon got it, but by the time it got to my house it was very bad shape. I negotiated a big discount and fixed it myself for a very good price. Most of the parts a common Chinese items that you can buy off of eBay cheap. They only part I had to buy from CAT was the electric unloader (a Normally Open solenoid operated valve). Pretty odd design because there is an unloader builtin to the pressure switch which they did not use.
If you ever have to do any work on the "plumbing", they use epoxy as a thread sealant. Heat it up a bit with a propane torch before thrying to remove ANYTHING !
You lost me a little on this one. Is your general comment about the quality of the compressor, or is it a concern about shipping one of these?
The CAT 10gal 2HP is down to $292 online now. The Makita MAC2400 is still for $299 is tempting as well. It sounds like the CAT will supply more air with lower noise levels, but some quality issues in the Amazon reviews are concerning.
Thoughts? Are the CAT and Makita about the same quality level and both should last for many years?
If you look back through comments on GJ and Amazon you will see CAT has a big problem is shipping because of poor packaging !
FYI: You might find this useful, this was posted on CA's website
"December 1st, 2015 California Air Tools will be introducing 4 NEW 2.0 Hp Ultra Quiet & Oil-Free Air Compressors designed for the garage, shop, office or warehouse.
Having only 70 decibels of sound, makes this air compressor one of the quietest 2.0 Hp air compressors in the industry.
The 10 gallon air tank is large enough to hold air for more continous tools, yet compact enough to move and store out of the way.
Quiet, Powerful and Compact!
California Air Tools 10020C Ultra Quiet & Oil-Free Air Compressors"
Will CA be having a blow out for their older models or ?
$292 @ HD for the 10ga/5.30 CFM @ 90 PSI/70db is tempting but maybe these will go lower during Black Fri. if they have new models coming out in Dec?
Just a thought
Pic of new one coming out in Dec., looks a little more polished but is 6" taller (36" total height).

I got sears to match the home depot price, and avoided the shipping problems by choosing store pickup. Sears, hd and amazon all charge tax in MA, so i decided to play the points game with sears. 15% back in points will go towards another worthy (probably discretionary) purchase.

Except it's not oil-less. Have you ever had the joy of sitting in the same garage as any Craftsman compressor? ... they are REALLY LOUD. I doubt the Mac5200 is THAT loud.
I'm wondering if the new one is worth waiting for. Looks like it's pretty much the same other than the sheet metal where the gauges are and the tank is shaped different. I've been eyeing the 10 gallon one to replace my loud *** craftsman 33 gallon. Looks like it will run my impacts guns fine.
I've been eyeing the IR Garage Mate lately, but the upright 10 gallon CAT unit looks very similar spec wise, minus the tank size!
I think CAT is missing the boat by NOT having a 20 gallon tank ! I understand the issue is shipping (especially direct to the customer), but as they get better market penetration in places like HD, Menards and Lowes, this problem will solve itself.
I ordered on line and used the price match form from the sears website. I figured it would take forever to hear back from them, but i got a confirmation email last night that the difference had been refunded. The compressor won't be in the store for pick up until 11/30.Did you do it through chat? I tried last time it was on sale, but since it wasn't stocked in my local Home Depot (nor is it stocked at my local Sears store), they refused.
Okay, I pulled the trigger on the 6310 for $159. I noticed that it was the only one of the three that had a water separator.
Water separator ? I don't think it has a "water separator", but it does have a built in 1/4 turn drain valve.
The CAT 6310 is better for nailing projects, because it is easier to move. I have a CAT 6320. I have not used it much but I expect to use it for automotive when I get my 3/8" Astro ONYX Nano Impact and HF reactionless Earthquake ratchet.
