Send me a PM Buddy.........too many haters

I will send you a photo shoot.......

And yes on the $40 Craftsman boxes all (8) lol

Anyone on the fence about the M18 blower: for $55 this thing is great.

Such a pint size blower, great for blowing leaves/dirt out of the garage. I just used this to clean my gutters, it was great, barely needed to get my hands dirty!

ok - so i couldnt resist.. bought the $367 Dewalt combo and the Fuel 1/2" High Torque Impact Wrench 2763.. bought in one store, returned the Dewalt in another.. after its all over with, i paid about $157 for the Milwaukee impact with tax. cant complain about that, and now i feel better having let the m12 saw/screwdriver kit go by for what could have been $90 for 2 tools, 2 batteries and a charger.

Old reply but Im bordering on ordering this too. Kicked myself for not getting it last year (not that I will ever really NEED it) but it seems like a pretty good deal this year too.

Its also great for blowing off your car after you are done washing!

Looking for some input on the M18 Fuel Hammer Drill/Driver. Can this be used as a driver only (IE select-able hammer function)? .

My brushed drill is selectable, though I have to keep it taped up because if I select the middle switch (Screw function with torque limiter), it will adjust to hammer drill after the 2nd screw and normally brake what I'm screwing.

Not sure if that's common on a well used and abused M18 drill. Should have investigated the the issue when I replaced the brushes, but was late at night and was happy to get my drill back for work in the morning.

I just purchased the $369 dewalt kit and the DCF899HB 20v Max 1/2" impact wrench bare tool. Impact is normally $229, with $150 discount it brings it down to $171.56. I recently moved so i actually had a 10% lowes coupon that was emailed to me, so i opened up a chat window and asked if I could use it towards my purchase, at first the rep didnt want to match it and said they only match that in-store only, but i told her that it was an online only item that was not sold in stores, so she agreed to do a 1 time courtesy discount of 10% on that item only. She said that i should receive an email within 45min to 1 hour for her to process the discount

I went to Home Depot and picked up an M12 combo set to compliment my 2 M18 1/4" impacts and drill for work. I assemble bicycles and the more guns the better, imo.
They gave me a free $100 ratchet with the purchase.

Had to return the M12 cause was too too weak. Was gonna get another $100 1/4" M18 impact kit. They gave me problems cause I used $37 store credit on the purchase, anyways down the line got $280 store credit for the $180 purchase. wthh home depot???

Took back my 2 week old 2763-20 that I only used once. Ended up at junkyard with my breaker bar bought 2 wrong size rims, helped off-set my savings. Picked up another 2763-20.

All in all... was many-a months of struggling to get this beast. Broken out of box $35 Harbor Freight 1/2" corded, broken $20 eBay corded, no balls $120 1/2" compact on eBay by accident, $213 2763-20 that I was embarrassed to admit how much I spent after all the work done by hand with no problems on 2 junk cars and stripping/scrapping another. And now I've got my gun.. proudly for $40 and many of wasted hours on craigslist/eBay searching.

Shady.you should give them the hundred dollars back.its like stealing.but if it makes you feel good that you didn't correct them, then good for you.

Actually there are two errors:

them allowing the 10%, but since they actually did it, thats mostly on them

And the 150 doesnt come off just the one tool (or, it shouldnt). It should be spread across the 2 items that were purchased.

He said the bare tool went from 229 to 171

Where is the stolen hundred?

The dewalt kit went down the other 92.00 of the 150.00

92 and 58 = 150

Nothing different then if I went into the store and asked if they would match a lowes coupon, she knew what I had in my cart online and I told her that it wasn't available locally. At least I used an actual competitor and didn't try a harbor freight coupon like ive heard of on here.

And the 10% she said would only be applied to the 1/2" impact tool, it hasn't shown a refund yet so she may have changed her mind and not done it

Does anyone think the m12 kit with non fuel drill, and mini saw all and 2 batteries is a good deal for $99?

I am looking for a small drill that is not so heavy and bulky..
That Kit is not eligable for this offer I think but $99 seems useful.

I just purchased this kit, in-store, and got the $150 off deal (with the Dewalt 20V kit). I also used a 10% off coupon and after all is said and done I think i'm in at just over $60 - no brainer. I also got the M12 Fuel combo a few weeks back, which is a pretty good setup.

Did the 10% off coupon ring up automatically or require an override for them to accept? I have a 10% coupon burning a hole in my pocket, but the back of the coupon is pretty explicit that it can't be combined with other offers, specials, sales, etc.

If the coupon discount is below $50 it shouldn't require an override.

I tried using a HF 20% coupon and it took off $75+ which prompted the SCO cashier to get a manager. The manager scrutinized the coupon and noticed it was for only one item. They then tried to ring it up with 20% off the Dewalt kit with no $150 discount. Obviously this wasn't in my best interest so I had them void the transaction and we started again. The second time I used a Lowe's 10% which was good for the total order and they stacked it on top of the $150 discount. The 10% coupon was a $37+ discount and didn't require an override.

Has anyone had any luck using the M18 Power Source as the add-on item in stores?

It appears they may have wised up to it online, as it appears to no longer be working.

If not, what's the next cheapest item people are getting to work online?

Makes sense!

In fact, I just picked mine up today.

Which leads me to a question - does anyone elses have a number scribbled on the bottom of the unit? Like where you slide the battery into.

It looks brand new and the packaging was sealed (with the single piece of tape Milwaukee always uses) but I was curious if it indicates it might have been opened.

Ok I pulled the trigger on the new Milwaukee tri-pod light w the Dewalt kit. Drops the light to $188 from $250, still damn expensive I'll admit.

I chose to have the light shipped to me (it's online only, at least 4 me), and store pick-up for the kit. I'm wondering/hoping I can just call my store & cancel the kit, then I won't even have to drive in to get my refund.

I also used HDHOLIDAY for $5 off which it didn't pro-rate, so not sure how that'll work when I "return" the kit.

Yeah I've seen the scribbling, seems to be a QC thing maybe? Kinda like when you used to find a slip in your new jeans of "Inspected by 34"

Hmm, I dunno about that. My refurb m18 fuel kit came with the scribbled batteries. Do you think people are swapping them for new ones??

Pics when you get it! I am really itching to grab that one too. When the promo first kicked off it was out of stock. I'll have to go look it over again.

Thats what i was worried about, although the only refurb Milwaukee stuff Ive had had the scribbling/numbers actually engraved in the outside of the casing....not hand written on the underside of the battery mount.

My apologies, I thought you were referring to the engraved scribbles.

Cheapest I've found is a B&D drill at $52.29

Several of mine have scribbled writing on them too, in what looks to be pencil. I found them a bit odd also, but figured they were some sort of QC marking.

This. The refurb markings are usually longer (more characters) and more pronounced than what comes on new stuff.

welp did the deed today and picked up the m18 brushless hammer drill and impact combo also the 18 volt wet dry vac. I couldnt justify the fuel verison considering i am just a hobbyist wood worker. I did a little comparison between the gen5x rigid and the milwaukee edged it out for comfort and available tools. $315 out the door is not to bad

What is the best way to acquire a High orque 2763 18V ?
Should I just pay the $199 bare tool, or try for a deal?
I forgot the dealeo.

I just did this myself.

Buy DeWalt kit + 2763-20. Return DeWalt kit at a later time.

You can save another 5% by using Discover card online or you can ask your HD store to give you the "lowes match" (which is 5% off) as long as you have and use a Home Depot credit card to pay in-store.

I ordered for in-store pickup using my Discover card to get the extra 5%.

If you do it on the web it will show you the exact price the 2763 comes down to which is about $146.

I asked if they would match a lowes coupon... I happened to have one in my wallet but they never asked for them and just applied the 5% lowes match to it while paying cash. so YMMV on needing the store credit card.

For the guys who do the returns how many or often before they start flagging you for this? Never did this buy and return stuff, so pretty clueless on it. Its too nice of a discount to pass up though.

Has anyone tried do do store pickup or ship to store etc and than just cancel or call in to cancel the one item. Wonder if that would work. Then atleast they don't have to open the box up and check the item's.
