I have a snap on roll cab coming in January, the tops for them are crazy money over here.

I'll need to trim 2" off it but it's perfect in all other dimensions.

Best part it cost a grand total of..... £10 !

It's beech.

I bought a set of those Knipex hose pliers a month or so ago, they work great for hose and spark plug boots. The quality is spectacular compared to the MAC Chinese hose pliers I have, and the Knipex fit right in between the MAC sizes.

Well I was hoping to show my nice brand new framing nailer. Except I opened the box and found this

Also ordered 4000 nails but they only delivered 3000. Overall the delivery was good but idk how something used like that nailer was gets shipped to someone else

I can honestly blame this place for my Knipex addiction. At first it was just the mini bolt cutters, but I found this 2 pack on ebay for a decent price. 10" diagonal cutters and 10" Craftsman badged Cobras.

Not really a gripe, but I know people on here complain that sometimes Channellocks have sharp edges brand new. I would tend to agree as I own quite a few pair, but the diagonals are actually worse than any Channellock I've seen, on the hollow side there are pieces of metal hanging off the edge. Nothing that interferes with their operation, I'll just deburr them like the Channellocks. Still great pliers though, based on the mini bolt cutters I'm hoping these will cut whatever I throw at them.

That being said, the Cobras are perfect, work smoothly. I see why everyone likes these so much.

I found these tonight at sears. they had them all in a box. $2.49 each i tried to get 1 of each. i got multiplies of the most common stuff. 52 total. craftsman professional and they even say USA on them. for $130 id say they are worth it

Was looking to upgrade the old flat bar with some bolts in it and found this from OTC. Alot stouter than i was expecting so hopefully it will hold up and having all of the thread in interchangeable pins should make things a little easier.

Other than the sleeved lug nut impact sockets that I recently got, I admittedly do not have any GearWrench tools. I have been eying these on Amazon lately and did not realize they came in a tray like that. You may have just sold me on these, especially for the price! [emoji106]

Got my Edsel/ProMaxx cabinet. It apparently saw active combat prior to delivery... Talked to Amazon and they knocked an extra 20% off for the damage. I've got a Knipex Pliers Wrench on the way from KC Tools great Black Friday sale to try to straighten out the sides. It's kinda crappily built but the casters move pretty well and for 60$ I'm happy with it. It fits all my blow mold cases.

Harbor Freight 1/4 in. Drive Professional Flex Head Ratchet

Got it for swapping my glow plugs in my TDI. It's kind of a weird angle and they're tiny so I wanted a good flex 1/4" drive. I'm really impressed with the quality of these Snap-on copy ratchets. They feel awesome.

I also got this for the glow plugs. Every video I've watched says like "Tighten to 14Nm" then the guy just does it by hand with a normal ratchet and says "You might think I should use a torque-wrench, but trust me this is 14Nm"

This isn't new tool related but... Have you ever wondered where all your old earwax goes? Into the HF 9$ angle grinder. I was getting ready to shoot a video using it but first I had to replace the brushes.

The new brushes just fell apart in my hand. They are outrageously crappy. I guess I can't expect much of the replacement brushes included with a 9$ tool. I was planning to do a video about the tool but now it isn't running so I'll have to go grab another one next time they are 9$. Since it was already dead I thought I'd take apart the head and poke around a bit without taking video.

HF use to sell the obsruction wrenches I have all the sets they sell. Granted not snappy quality but they get the job done.

Took advantage of the Amazon Tekton deal and picked up some stuff that I didn't really NEED but kind of wanted. I have had good luck with some of the tekton stuff in the past and I have read that they are great at warranty coverage.



I picked up the SAE and Metric Tap and Die sets.


The "power socket adapters" I have messed around with these already and think they will come in very handy.


Also grabbed the 14 piece nut driver bit set. I have a feeling I will use the adapters more than these but I figured I would give them a shot too. I do like how short they are, nice and tight to the driver.


A pair of long 45 degree and 8" 90 degree pliers. TBH I am pretty impressed with these. They are not amazing but for the price they seem quite nice. I doubt I will use them much but they are nice to have.


Picked up the 1/2" drive metric impact socket set, these will be the most used of these tools I am pretty sure. They are well reviewed and I like the case.


Didn't have very high expectations for the "precision pliers set" and wasn't let down. They are pretty meh but they will see very light service and will, I bet, be more than up for the job I ask of them.

Bought this set for $89 on sale today although I had absolutely no need for it. Lol. Really nice set for the money though. The Black Friday display in my local store had all Chinese made sets but I was able to locate several of the Tiawan made sets in the tool dept., hence the beat up box. Lowes also had 4' Werner ladders for $20. COO is Mexico for any who might be concerned. Picked one up to keep in the laundry room.

CT is pretty good. The trick is to wait for the sales. It's average quality for the most part, but there is a no questions warranty which is nice.

Good to know. I've heard people having good success with Singer sewing machine oil when they didn't want to use a thicker lube. I might try that.
